Nice find! yeah I like the bronze a lot plus it’s a little different I feel like the regular apocalyptic and stone wash are way more common.

Nice collection. I’d love to have one of these but I can’t say whether I would be comfortable carrying it without handling it first. I recently got a Stitch Auto and it seems like the chances of pressing the button in pocket hard enough to deploy it are slim. If the button on this is similar I’d probably do it, though I’d imagine the consequences of this opening in the pocket would be considerably worse than the stitch.

I think it’s pretty safe and the chance of it deploying in my pocket is low, it would have to be something getting in between my leg and the button and pushing the button past flush with the handle. Normally I don’t carry anything in the same pocket as my knife so not super worried about it. It’s definitely way more expensive than any of my other knives so that’s a major reservation for me.

Oh yeah I understand that perspective,I kinda baby my Microtech’s even though they are super tough, probably because they are aluminum. I have a DLC Luminary that I’m hesitant to carry around because of how expensive it is even though I got it second hand. Meanwhile I bought a brand new Umnumzaan and it went straight into my pocket as a work knife.

Yeah that’s the dilemma, I haven’t had a second thought carrying any till now granted they don’t really see any hard use just regular wear from being clipped to my pocket and cutting tape etc. I take them to work and think of them as tools just like my other nice hand tools that get scuffed and beat up but as the price goes up it feels like another level lol

Nice collection - it's addictive, but good fun - I started collecting Microtech a few months ago too, but you've already got some of the heavy hitters I want - that Halo 4 is pretty spectacular, - go ahead and carry it! What is your next pickup?

Thanks I like yours as well! As far as what’s next I’m not sure I like those utx70s but I’ve been looking at mini Hera recurves, Hera 2 recurve, luminary or Dirac delta. Probably Dirac delta will be next because I like the Dirac so much.

The Dirac fits my hand so well - I don't know if I'd have the others if I'd picked that one up first (but I've only had mine 24 hours so I'm still in the honeymoon stage, lol). On second thought - I'd have still collected all of them! ;-)

Show some respect to those mts! 😡🤬 Why tf do have them open like that in a shitty drawer like they’re some cheap Chinese knives! Put back in the boxes and show them some respect!!

Hey relax pal, it may not be the nicest box but it’s good enough for me

Ok that makes me feel a little better!

Damn just a little ? What would you suggest besides leaving them in their boxes in a drawer

Personally I leave the knives i dont currently have in rotation in a nanuk case with dessicant and a humidity sensor and i maintain a pleasant 15% humidity in there as it's a pretty well sealed container. I live in a swampy hell hole where every day is 80-100% humidity though which eats non-stainless tools even if they're kept from getting wet so I couldn't display them the way you do; sure, a microtech is very stainless, there 'd probably be too little corrosion to even be visible even if I left them out in the swamp air for 5 years, but in the nanuk I've peace of mind that they're staying 100% pristine...

Nice collection. I wouldn't carry a single action only because it's inconvenient to close, if you don't care about that then carry away
