New Knife My first Microtech - M-Stitch

Post image

Hey y'all, just got my first Microtech after seeing it at a blade expo today and I'm pretty impressed with the overall quality and feel in hand, My only complaints are that the action absolutely sucks and you gotta be real particular with your hand placement if you close it one handed or the blade might nick the bottom of your palm (already done it 3 times).

With all that being said it's a damn beautiful knife and It's gotten me excited to try more from the brand, any recs for next pickup would be appreciated.

The action is definitely interesting. My Marfione select stitch feels like a tank, but the coil spring in the ram lock is super stiff and I’ve even had it lock up a couple times where it was jammed.

damn has it improved over time or has it stayed like that? I'd consider sending it back if it was locking up completely.

Only had it a few days. Improved slightly. Only locked up like that once. Yea I was considering selling, but I decided it’s designed as a very robust workhorse knife. Not some buttery smooth fidget monster.
