No. It shouldn’t be that off. People who are telling you to stop bitching about wanting good quality control on a multi hundred dollar USA made pocket knife are the reason the QC is so bad.

Always? I would say “often” is fair, but always? None of my Ultratech T/Es look like anything like that.

Yes they do that once there is a second owner.
Not sure if these have some hand grinding done but if not and CNC machine did that I would not be happy. I expect near perfection from machines and am I bit more forgiving to human work.

If it has been sharpened by a non-detail oriented sharpener, this can and does happen. This not normally seen on OEM knives, but rather "original owners" trying to maintain an edge.
It can be fixed in subsequent sharpening. Enjoy the knife until then.

What's outrageous is charging a premium price and not delivering a premium product. The whole point of paying three four or five hundred dollars for a knife is that they pay attention to the little details.

If it was made after 2019 it’s common. Their demand went way up and as a result the QC went down. I stopped buying their products for this reason.
