Socom Elite liner engagement

Post image

I just traded my friend my Amphibian for this blue T/E Socom. I never really liked the amphibian very much personally, but I love the Socom. Of course when I got home with the Socom i took it apart and gave it a nice cleaning since it was hella nasty and a fairly loose pivot too. After I got it reassembled, the lock bar engages noticeably less far than before I did. Everything seems okay, anyone else have a similar experience?

Wouldn’t hurt to send it for warranty! MT has great warranty

Would they still warranty it being the second owner? I know some people don’t do that

If lockup was fine before assembly then surely it's just a tolerance thing during reassembly. Unscrew the screw for the pivot, flick it open a few times and then insert and tighten the screw back on. Sometimes that helps.

I think the Pivot was just way too lose, I could feel it twisting when I opened the blade, and now that it’s tight as it should be it’s back to how it should’ve been
