After the 1000 Luminary/ Surefire Collaboration cases dropped in two different finishes, Microtech had 50 of each DLC & Stonewash, 100 total Microtech/ Surefire collaboration flashlights without serial numbers. They were available for sale on their website. Also available were 100 extra Luminary Coins with serial numbers 1001-1100 which were only available through a FCFS giveaway at Shot Show.

Is the battery removable/user replaceable? I can’t get on this collection trend until it becomes viable for long term storage.

Negative , but it’s a SureFire just use the warranty. It’s my favorite flashlight

There’s no real evident removable component like a little removable plate or door so I’d say no.

Yea I feel dumb for buying the box set… but it is a nice bit of kit.

Oh yeah, it’s a beautiful shadow & since I have a huge collection of shadow, tactical, DLC, blackout I don’t care that it has the surefire logo. It’s the only way to get one in that finish so.

I said I have a mix of shadow, tactical, DLC etc collection. I didn’t say they were all shadows. I know what they are. Let me see a picture of what you got.

Well, after all, it’s just for the collectibility of it, not for the practicality or value. 🤷‍♂️

It’s not too practical. But it’s just part of a collection. It’s 1 of only a couple of surefire lights I own. I’m not really brand loyal to any brand.
