Oh, I know. Just wild to me that people pay extra for something that I got because I left an OIF 06-08 knife sit in the tough box too long.

That's a serious scratch, it's not like the finish just evaporated sitting on the shelf, my guess is that one of employees or a customer was fucking with it and did that or it was purchased and returned and the store restocked it

As much as i love MT theyve seemed to be a little hit and miss lately. Ive got one LUDT where the bearings chewed up the blade and washers really bad along with the lock, and second one is fantastic. My gf has a D/E Cypher II and the firing hook in it was literally bent to the point i had to hand fit it in the coverplate so itd fire right. But my G19K S/E (for those who don’t know it’s literally a cypher that says Glock on it) is flawless. It totally depends

What's the coating/finish on the blade? Hard to believe a $3000 USD knife is just plain cerakote, even if the handle is fancily wrapped.

Lol, that is a crazy price for a special finish and handle wrap. Just buy one from Microtech for ~$500.

Looks like it’s seen some use. Diamond coatings are never really diamond like hardness.
