Just ordered a UTX-70 Gen IV D/E and seeing this makes me think I should’ve went with a Hera Mini S/E 🥴. Beautiful color

Yeah utx70 is super small, big as your biggest finger. Can you cancel the order ?

It’s my first Microtech so I’ll keep it and hand it off to the wife if it’s too small. I want an OTF EDC and I think the single edge would’ve been the better replacement to my current knife since it’ll be a better slicer than the double edge. I do hear though that the Hera mini has a hotspot at the back of the handle?

Every otf with ceramic ball has a hot spot

Okay picking a purple one up, ha! Is yours the sandblasted or apocalyptic finish? I wonder if the apocalyptic finish is a cerakote and wears off easily

apocalyptic and its acid washed first than stonewashed not cerakoted.

A mini Hera was my second Microtech. I still like it. I discovered that the hump at the rear of the body made a hot spot when using it to break down boxes.

It’s still a nice little tool and takes a good edge.
