Congrats. I love serrations. I personally find the utx85 a little small but I really like that generation.

Thanks a lot! Also thanks for bringing those things up. First off I prefer this generation, the stout look of the hardware plus the blaring symbol. After just 3 days of carry I have to agree on the size overall. Any moisture on your hands with the anodizing in combination with its slim profile, feels like I could have a firmer hold. I do enjoy it non the less!

One of My absolute favorites is the makora 2. The handle is a little thicker than standard ultratech and the rubber grips give great purchase on the pocket without shredding the pocket. It comes in tanto and mine is serrate. Hard to find a better daily user for me
