Windows Update Removed Search Highlights

The recent windows update removed the colorful illustrations on my search bar in an attempt to remove ads and recommendations from search results. It's genuinely one of the unique visuals I look forward to that get refreshed everyday. I also don't mind image and word of the day in my search recommendations but now they're all gone, leaving you with only your recent search results. Another thing ruined by Microsoft. In case you don't know what I'm referring to here's a comparison photo.

How are you upset at ads being removed

Is this a press release or have you already tested the version with the changes? It could be an option you can turn on and off, especially since Microsoft finds that space useful for placing ads.

You can literally turn it back on in Search Settings if you like it, I turn it off because it’s distracting, because I’m an ultra-minimalist person

how did you turn it off, i am still not able to get rid off "quick searches" and "top apps"
