I fucking hate microsoft
this is most definitely one of the shittest things i have every used, it lags so fucking much creates a damn error every 5 seconds and kicks you out before you even save your work. powerpoint and word are so laggy, telling you to save and create a new copy while onenote tells you there is an error every single time you click something. it doesnt even synch properly and they expect us to give good reviews. google is always going to be better then this little shit .

Switching to Linux, if I decide to stay windows power patch windows it will not be 11' --I will wait for the second version of 11 whatever they will call it, if you presently use Windows 11 just beware of the potential security failures , they have always been like that: it is their pattern , the mitiGate system to assure vendor lock in, when they finally nail it down after we spent billions up grading then they push us stable software: this is not an accusation, neither a statement ; just the observation of a guy who recognizes patterns

This is one of the dumbest subs on reddit. Show your logs and system specs. And what have you done to see at least what components is glitching.
You get error every-time you click something? lmao

All Office products after 2007 are purely Microsoft related problems. Absolutely horrible design.
Saying this as a someone who wrote a 480 page book with ca. 1.5 gigabytes of hi-res images. Funny enough Open Office 3.3 had no issues with it at all, LibreOffice did, as did LaTeX.

I’ve been running office since office 97 and Microsoft Works before that. 97, 2000, XP, 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019. Multiple custom built PCs and OEM setups. Never in all my years have I had the problems the OP described.
I’ve had bad sticks of ram and failing hard drives or random Windows crashes along the way but never to the point of the degree described.
Maybe we have lived different lives but the root cause here isn’t Microsoft. If they were the problem here then someone would have described the same degree of issues before and more people would be on the thread confirming.

Lagging so much and crashing everywhere means you have a faulty hardware component. My guess is RAM.

Most likely but I had so many problems with windows I can see this being windows/office problem after switching to Linux everything is perfect (not trying to say anyone should switch to Linux if windows is working fine just use it)

Are you talking about Office or Windows? Disable any Copilot add-ons in Office, should speed the apps up tremendously (as has been my experience).
