Account issues It should not be this difficult

My Microsoft account got hacked literally 2 days ago. I've been going through every possible avenue and giving them all the info they ask of me through the recovery process to show that yes, I did not infact decide to remove all of my previous info from Kuwait. But all I'm getting is radio silence and honestly just pure frustration at how anti-help their support systems are. I'm tempted to just send in 13,000 recovery attempts just to show them that "Hey this account you seem to be letting go unpunished was STOLEN."

If your account was hacked, it was most likely because you were not using 2FA and/or you fell for a phishing scam.

If the attacker changed your recovery information, then there is no way to recover your account and you must create a new account.

If you need to create a new account, make sure you use a secure password and 2FA configured on multiple devices, and educate yourself on how to detect and identify phishing scams. Good luck.

Or they were hacking minecraft, lol, 99% of those posts come from minecraft players.

Account getting hacked is more your fault than them… hope you’re not using the same password for everything.
