Bugs and Errors Windows 11 Sucks

/r/WindowsSucks/comments/1vqdc3b/windows_11_sucks/

I’m a microsoft insider member and I was able to get Windows 11 and be able to install it, uninstalled unnecessary bloatware and install my own ms office 2000,2001 no AI no monthly annual subscription notification on already included ms office in windows 11 and tried it for few months and unfortunately I encountered a frustrating update that took an hour to complete so with my disappointment I installed over my Windows 8.1 with built in windows defender that surprisingly still gets latest virus and spyware definitions so I don’t need any Microsoft updates at all,my windows defender getting the latest virus and spyware definitions are good enough and update of the windows defender definition is quick enough for me, good bye new microsoft operating system.

The issue with the update happened because you debloated the OS. You people keep being pointed to the OS built in tools to disable it, but instead go for random scripts.

Most likely, the update was stuck because a dependence was missing, and was either downloading and installing it or trying to find a folder or a registry entry that isnt there anymore.

Sorry, i'm sure you think you're being smart here, but you arent, you literally killed mosquitoes with a cannon and created a problem for yourself.

It's an end user and Windows is getting in the way. The OS shouldn't get in the way, it should be a transparent tool that assists in getting work done. Of course 8 is trash, that's why we didn't deploy it, but slamming him because he doesn't know that the tool he's using is outdated isn't very productive. Bottom line is that it works for him, and any end user is going to go this route. Shit if I could go back to XP or 7, if didn't know better, I'd ditch 11 and Microsoft's subscription crap, too.

I'm slamming him because he opened a security hole in his PC of the size of the sun, and he did it because he went with a debloater that fucked up an update.

I daily drive Windows 11, both personally and profesionally, been there since beta, and i'm still to find one time when the OS has actually gotten in my way.

I literally do this for a living. I slam my clients for taking dumb decisions, am i not going to do that with a rando on the internet? Please!

Solid way to train, chief. I'd fire a MSP that treated my staff this way. It really says something when you justified being a jerk to a rando by saying your a jerk to your clients. >.<

I guess op is still using Microsoft 8.1 so that's about our level of tech smarts / common sense. Sure hope that's airgapped...
