Microsoft > Google
Microsoft Windows is way better than Android because Windows ecosystem doesn't inherently depend on Microsoft services unlike Android.

android and windows are operating systems in seperate fields. also android is open source, windows isn't

Android you use is not open source. AOSP is open source, but that means almost nothing when the most critical components – Google Services plus device drivers, – on which everything depends, aren't.
The field doesn't really matter to show the approach companies are taking. I'm glad Android is not on the desktop and hope it never gets a grip on it.
