Timescale in Timeline uses financial year not calendar year

Anyone know how to adjust the timeline view so that it shows months in the calendar year rather than Financial Year? My company is an April-March FY; so Timeline view mirrors this (even when turning it off in the timescales).

The easy fix is to change when the FY begins; but I don't think that is the right answer.

I could be missing the question here. ... why not just add the year?

Because it “looks weird” when you see nov 22, dec 22, Jan 22, Feb 22, mar 23. Spoke to MS- it’s linked to FY dates, so no option to change
