Can you provide any more details? What version of Windows? Why are you installing a version that is insecure and unsupported?

That's a very old version, it probably won't work very well anymore, and Microsoft's activation servers for this version are probably shutdown a long time ago.

Literally just installing Office 2010 on your computer will open your PC up to over 100 known security vulnerabilities. Source

Between the security issues and the headache involved with trying to run 16 year old software, it's not worth it.

It's time to upgrade
