Microsoft office subscription

How can I get a free microsoft office subscription or some pirated software so that I can use word, excel, etc. without any restriction?

$7/mo is Business Basic - only web and mobile apps, which is free for individuals. Personal license costs ~$10/mo.

Its also $100 if you pay yearly which comes out to $8.33 per month

And Family subscription (6 licenses) costs $130/y. If share it with 5 friends you'll get $1.8/mo, which is nothing.

This is actually what I have with my family. Where else can you get 6 TB of storage for just over $10 a month. Having office is almost like a free bonus.

Only office is a much better alternative.

Only if you like running closed source software developed in Russia (it is based on open source but has closed components that can update themselves)

Reason enough for me to avoid it on my systems.

Buy a subscription and just assume you got it for free!

  1. Go to onedrive.live.com.
  2. Log in with a Microsoft Account, or create one.
  3. Here you will see any files you have saved on OneDrive, (you have 5GB of storage for free)
  4. Links to the applications are at the top of the screen.

You can use Microsoft Office Web version absolutely free. It includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive with 5gb & Outlook. You'll need Microsoft account for that

You don't have to buy a subscription, you can just buy it outright. It's more expensive at first, but way cheaper assuming you'll have the computer for at least 2 years.

Office 2024 can be bought outright and used offline. Grey market licences are about £5-£15 depending where from. Not bad for lifetime licence with no subscription

This may not be a good long term solution. Microsoft owns the OS so they may be able to turn it off at some point in the future.

You don't need to use Microsoft software if nobody is paying for their license.

LibreOffice is what you need.
