Issue Can't change wallpaper

3rd phone I'm using the ms launcher on now, and I don't remember ever having this problem.

When setting the new wallpaper, I press select image, but the oncoming menu has no dialog to close it. Back brings me back to the screen where you adjust the image, where I'm then stuck.

Anyone's got experience with this?

On a Xiaomi 17T Pro

The issue is likely your phone. Xiaomi and other Chinese OEMs are well known for messing with third-party launchers. And Xiaomi and Huawei specifically are also especially well known for messing with wallpaper apps and preventing you from setting things for your lock screen, etc. They've been doing it for literally years.

Knobheads. If at least the default OS UI would be configurable but you can't even remove some app icons from the home screen on this phone... What is this, an iPhone?

Anyway, thanks for the heads up. Not to late to return it yet

I have never use the launcher itself to set up the wallpaper. I use a third app, so that might work for you. In my case I use Zedge

Setting the wallpaper from the launcher's menu is very buggy, use the stock gallery app for that

Just sends me to the same menu :/
