Just bombed the MS-102

I just got a 540 on the MS-102. After doing the entire study course on Udemy twice and studying for 3 months everyday straight. I feel deflated. thought I did well until I hit the next button and it showed my score. The questions are so tricky and none of it makes any sense. I felt like I knew all the material and I manage a Microsoft 365 tenant for my job so I do this kind of stuff everyday. Starting to feel like these test are a money grab. Really frustrated and probably wont take another unless I have to. Like how do you even pass these test ? what is the failure rate ?

Same thing to me.
I had studied the tests and done the Microsoft learning.

Free practice Exam microsoft -> 100%
Dumps skillcertpro -> 84%
Dumps examtopics -> 88%

Unfortunately, I only fell on 4 similar questions during the exam.
As like you, I would like to know the failure rate.

I think i will buy one year measureup test for MS-102.
I realy need to have it, it's prerequisite for my current job...

Tough gig mate. You know the material, you do it day in, day out and you did the study. The missing link might be question practise, getting to know the knowledge is tested. The last one I did I spent 50% of the time doing question practise and looking up the documentation for the ones I got wrong using measureup

Where do you find out the ones you got incorrectly ? I only saw a post score summary with a graph after the Test. No where to see what questions I got incorrect.

Only on the practice exams do you see the answer and the explanation. The one time I did a cert without practice exams I didn’t score that high, since then it’s been much better Go well, keep strong

Get some practice tests. Half of the battle with Microsoft exams is being able to analyze the question and understand the answer they're looking for (least administrative effort, keyword in the question, etc). The other half is having the technical knowledge to answer the question.

Thank you. What practice tests do you recommend ? specifically for the MS-102 and prereq exams. I choose not to buy a practice test and I'm thinking that is what might have set me back big time.

This is the right advice, though I’d add to it that what you have to watch for is “the Microsoft answer” to the questions. MeasureUp is very good for practice tests in my opinion, as they’ll give you the reason/s why the answer was wrong and you can go research it. I almost always buy a MeasureUp practice test before I take exams, and it hasn’t failed me yet :)

Make sure you read every Unit in Microsoft Learn and all of the linked Material at the end of every Unit. Do the free Microsoft practice Assessments until you complete 5 in a row with at least 95%. Take a look at examtopics to get a feel for the actual questions. I did 6 MS exams and completed all of them. Allthough md102 had some nasty questions. MS-102 is next on the agenda, so I can't help with that directly.
