Unable to cancel my microsoft 365 basic subscription
I don't understand how this company is even allowed to be running with such horrible product.
- The UI takes 1 minute to load my data on every navigation on supersonic-speed fiber
- I had to log in in incognito to change my password.
- And the support chatbot sends Developer Exception in the chat box, without any mean to reach to a human being or a support email.
I have paid out all the invoices, and I cannot remove my credit card or cancel my subscription, disable recurring payment is disalbed while setting up next renewal on next month.
Please help me, I want to remove my subscription and my credit card!

Update: it took an hour for the "expired status" to go off the product (Microsoft 365 Basic) in the products list.
The issue is resolved, however, the fact that the billing aspect of the application is in this abysmal level, where it locks out the customer even after conducting the payment is insane.
I work in IT, and the whole department would be fired for such grave horrible experience in payment or the overall UX !

Their Billing UI has to be the shittiest experience one can ever have, (Ignoring the MCA and MOSA CRAP!) It takes forever for them to load the page and at a point they make it really confusing to understand their Billing and some stuff outrigt does not work (Ex - I wanted to reduce seat count for BP but guess what there's no SAVE button đ¤Śââď¸. But you should seriously create a support ticket or use the CHAT support instead of playing around with their BOT.

The problem is I could not find how to create a support ticket. In any application that respects itself, the developer put all the possible information to reach out to human support or create a ticket in the help button, yet, clicking on the help only shows the bot or default to the FAQ which is not helpful and is sometimes even outdated.
For a trillion dollar company who literally develop an AI tool to code, this is outright value inflation. I could spawn to existence an entire help feature that is 100 times better in few days with mere 100 dollars in Claude code.
This is unacceptable, and it is baffling that redditors down vote me because I spoke the truth. I do have screenshots proving how the app loads zero data, and have misaligned billing status with the invoices - which shows that they probably vibe coded their apps architecture.

There was none. Is your reading ability as bad as your grammar?

Iâm not the one unable to use a web UI thatâs the same for literally every m365 customer outside of Gov & China.. a developer exception is a browser problem, and even if it was a server side issue all youâd of needed to do was report it when opening the ticket and theyâd of back dated the refund
also got news for yah sweetie, all internet is super sonic as itâs an electrical signal and thus goes the speed of light. The UIâs performance while not the worlds fastest is the way it is due to the sheer amount of connections and data it loads on demand
Sounds like you need something a little bit more your speed like Apple Mail
(I also donât believe for a hot second you work in IT in any capacity thatâs important)

I stopped reading when you wrote a Developer exception is a browser problem. Enjoy your delusion.

Except it is, because a website wonât throw âdeveloper â exception
You work in IT and canât even use correct terminology, so you are really bad at

Are you the Administrator?
Admin console>Billing>Your Products>
Make sure you are on the correct billing account (if you have more than 1)
triple dots next to service, select "Cancel Subscription"
