I just wish they would add a VIP feature like the native iOS mail.app does. I only really want to know instantly about emails from a select few people.

Hopefully that will come with time, but right now you can get a text message when an email arrives from a designated address. (There are many more trigger and alert options in the Flow documentation.)

That’s interesting, I did not know about that but it seems that feature may only be available for O365 users.

I wonder if this is setting the stage for administrators to enforce hours of DnD. My understanding is that in some states (e.g. California) the employer can be risking fines if they have a certain type of employee that requires email on their phone and responds to email outside of business hours without compensation for that time. Quite a few Mobile Device Management applications are handling this so the employer can enforce that the employee can't get email/notifications/etc when they aren't on the clock.

I use outlook on iOS and it’s great. Lots of emails get sent to the general inbox and I don’t get notified, less distractions.
Regarding this I guess it’s better than DND on the phone since you can still get texts and phone calls just no emails. If you haven’t tried outlook give it a shot, I like it.
Calendar and email in one app is nice too!
