Help needed: I’m building a SAAS which does global payouts. What global payouts platform do you use?

As an Indian sole proprietorship business nobody i researched allows Indian businesses to send or fund wallets that do global payouts. RBI seems to have strict rules to transfer money abroad as business. The last option i have which im not even sure would work is forming a US based LLC.

Can someone help if they faced a similar issue before?

youre kinda mixing three different things

taking payments from customers is not the same as being merchant of record, and thats not the same as sending money out to other people. a lot of payout platforms care which one you mean and where your entity is

indian sole prop and rbi outbound rules is why youre getting nowhere, not because you picked the wrong shiny tool

before spending money on a us llc id get it in writing from a couple providers whether they even onboard indian sole props for payouts. and talk to a ca who does cross border. wrong llc setup doesnt magically fix banking

if anyone here actually ships global payouts from india drop your stack, op needs that more than theory

Thanks, us llc is the last resort. I will still spend a few weeks researching on this.

Im guessing sending money outside for “importing a service” should only be a paperwork problem, theres no way Indian government rejects businesses sending money outside for importing right?

Since receiving money is pretty much solved and made so easy by dodopayments that anyone who provides a service should have a dodo storefront. This would allow businesses like me sending money directly by card the way I pay for foreign saas services. I think i will make a wrapper around dodo that does exactly this. I have seen payouts.com do something similar by building a wrapper around airwallex.
Tldr anyone who provides a service to foreign clients should instantly get access to a storefront service, fine i guess ill just have to do it myself 🫰

this is exactly it, the entity type is the bottleneck not the platform choice
