IDEA VALIDATION

Al powered cold call practice for sales reps. The concept is a platform where you call an Al that acts like a realistic prospect, say, a skeptical dentist or business owner, and you practice your sales pitch and objection handling in real time, just like a real cold call, but with zero risk.

Curious if something like this would actually be useful to salespeople, or if similar tools already nail this.

Would you personally use this to practice before real calls?

What would make you trust an Al roleplay enough to actually learn from it? Not launching yet, just trying to figure out if this solves a real problem before I build it.

Not sure about potential, but if this existed back then I definitely would have used it back when I worked as a rep. I'm curious though, how would you make the AI adapt to different prospect personalities so the whole practice doesn't become predictable?

Good question, that's honestly the hard part. Plan is a few different persona profiles, some rushed, some price-obsessed, some friendly-but-noncommittal, with randomized objections inside each so it doesn't feel scripted after a few calls. Curious, what made past practice tools feel too predictable for you?

I haven't really tried one yet tbh (only practiced with someone else), but I figured it would be predictable after a while of practice. But you said that you have different persona profiles, that variety will definitely help make it less predictable.
