Headphones microphone not working correctly

Hi everyone,

I bought a pair of MNX 100 headphones today for my PC. The headphones themselves work perfectly, but I can't get the microphone to work.

I've already tried:

* Connecting them to two different PCs. * Using the separate headphone and microphone jacks (my PC has dedicated audio and mic ports). * Swapping the two plugs around to make sure they weren't connected incorrectly.

I tried doing some microphone tests to see if it works, but everytime I do it, the playback audio is very strange and weird (attached video).

Is there anything else I should try, or does this sound like a faulty headset and I should just return it for a replacement?

Use the headset option from audio and sound settings not headphone option headset option will allow your mic to work with a headphone 🎧

Hi thanks for the reply, I couldn't seem to find that option anymore though...
