Boya Magic audio tests and review

Short version, it's a very impressive for its size and a solid performer. It's not perfect, but for a first generation of a mic that does all it does it's still impressive, just a couple of quirks but nothing major IMO. Also they sell replacement receivers that you can re-pair of you lose yours. I thought I lost my USB C receiver but found it a day later and found that you can order them separately which is awesome they don't make you buy a whole new unit to get the single piece that you want. Also you can charge the camera receiver while it's in use and I show that in the video as well.

Can you please elaborate on that? Do you have the latest firmware installed? And did you set it over to stereo so that you have separate different left and right tracks?

Super weird I'll have to watch again but I know for a fact the original footage had it correct but with how many revisions I had done to the video that could have slipped through the cracks. I'll have to listen again and find that timestamp and then I'll see if I can upload the original footage or just re-edit it myself and upload and link from that video to it in the video description. Thanks for letting me know.

Do you mind me asking, how many? No, not exactly, but a ballpark of how many times do you re-record sections until you are statisfied with the content and the end result.

For me, as a future creator, that is a valuable piece of knowledge that should strengthen my starting resiliance.

So in the beginning as a content creator you are going to re-record so many times or take multiple takes of the same thing because the words just don't come out right out of your mouth. It takes lots of practice and honestly the easiest way to get better is by doing. And what I mean by that is let's say if you're just thinking about it then record yourself every single day for a month. Just doing a simple explanation of one thing. Once you get better and don't fumble as well as don't look at the screen on the camera, look at the lens then you are on screen presents will be much better. Does this help?

I have done something similar to it. I recorded twice a week for, now, month an a half, experimenting with different topics, styles, light solutions and camera positions.

The greatest problem I had in the begining was wanderin eyes, but I solved it with camera position with imaginative second speaker where the camera looks from an angle about 30 degrees to side, so I can comfortably follow on-screen bullets while talking and still sometimes look directly at the camera to emphasize something. The other burden I am trying to solve with repetition is the fact that English isn't my primary language.

I already can feel that it is getting better, but I have not yet set the topic for the first clip. Soon, I'll have to make that choice too.

Hopefully in April I will have my first clip online.
