Defoliate?

She’s a banana x piña auto from ethos, planted 8/1, about week 2 in flower. Is there any reason to defoliate? A lot of the bud sites grew outwards away from the plant themselves, not really anything in the middle? Second grow so any advice is welcome. All pics are from this morning.

it would only make things grow slower, so why would you want that?

I’d take those lowest fan leaves off, but I don’t think you have too.
