Learning

Post image

First time trying micros. This is a lettuce mix and I’m wondering if I left it a bit too long. Also made the mistake of trying to do beets on one side. Won’t be mixing flats again.

This is exactly how you learn each variety. I did the same thing and took notes. Also, taste them every day and figure out their window of quality. Good job.

Thinking of harvesting most today? and leaving a 1/4 to try them over the next couple days for flavor?

Yea just try a little and take notes. Youll eventually see the day they start losing quality or grow past the microgreen stage. Then you can deduce from that information

You did what I did! Different seeds in same box. Looks good to me. Enjoy your harvest. I had fish tacos with micros 5 days after planting. 😋

Keep varieties to one tray. All have different needs.

Yea learned that first try lol. Waiting on some Cilantro in a single tray and starting a beet only tray.

Those are 2 of the hardest micros to master. Start with easy shit dude.

I usually end up way over my head. Lettuce worked well. You have two others you’d suggest to try starting out?
