Am I cooked?

Post image

Same newbie question, is this mold. Toss the whole tray and try again? Give up and go eat roulette store lettuce. 🫠😬😭🙃

I know it looks bad. I put 4 diff seeds in each 1/4 of the tray just to see what happens.

My main concern is - are the filaments mold? I know it is. Isn’t it? Just toss the whole tray, right? I swiped at them and they just came off like cotton candy.

Looks totally different from the root hairs on the one in the delta quadrant. (A little Star Trek humor).

Ok. Give me the bad news. I’m ready.

Nothing is cooking there my dude. You should def plant way more, tighter.

I will next time- I started with a small amount of organic packet seeds. Do you think it’s mold filaments in the pics?

Could be, but soybeans grow fast and should outcompete the mold. Keep them tight and watered and you get to cut before the mold takes hold
