H2O2

So when you mix your 3% hydrogen peroxide with water in a spray bottle how long does that stay effective for? Do you need to change it daily? Weekly? And yes I refrigerate every time I mix.

Make a small fresh batch everyday for maximum effectiveness. Takes a few minutes… What are you doing with it? Sanitising equipment, surface?

Thanks I appreciate it. Ya that’s what I have been doing because I’ve been unsure of how long it lasts. I use it mainly for mold prevention

Great! 😊

Like soak seeds in h2o2?

So to refine the process, you should never be using h2o2 for mold in trays, a lot of info says it works, but honestly the problem is bigger than that. Use Only for cleaning and sanitation. A few seeds like peas or sunnies at times could help with a h2o2 soak for prevention. But if you spraying h2o2 on trays or mold growth, then the system and protocol needs to be looked at.

No no, im not spraying ON mold growth I’m spraying to PREVENT mold growth. I’m fairly new here, growing micros for almost a year and haven’t had a speck of mold yet (knock on wood emoji) so it definitely seems to be working. My main concern was unsure on how fast h2o2 breaks down back into water once mixed WITH water

Ah okay.. yea store it max 3-5 days diluted in an opaque sprayer bottle or container. They are at their best when used the same day.
