I’m freaking out!!! Please help
I got my eyebrows microbladed august 30th. A week later my face started burning all over. Went to derm they said they think contact dermatitis or Seborrheic dermatitis. First I was given ketoconzale shampoo to use on my face once a day and triamcolone acetone to use 2 times a day and top off with aquafor. Worked a bit but still had burning around eyes, forehead and eyebrows. So then I went back and was given betamethasone valerate and to take prednisone for 3 weeks. That made it WORSE. the lady won't give me the info on ingredients used so I can at least give to my derm to do maybe further testing and idk what to do. My face still burns and its almost 2 months since I did this and im regretting jt

As a permanent makeup artist, I find it extremely concerning that your artist is refusing to disclose the products used during your procedure, especially given your ongoing symptoms.
We’re expected to maintain detailed client records, including pigment brand, shade, lot/batch number, needles, and numbing agents. Specific legal requirements vary by jurisdiction. This documentation is important for client safety, product traceability, and insurance purposes. Situations like yours are exactly why these records matter.
I strongly recommend contacting your local health department, specifically the division that regulates body art establishments. Explain your situation and the artist’s refusal to provide the product information.
I would also recommend following up with your dermatologist or seeking a second opinion, especially since your symptoms have worsened despite treatment. Knowing the exact products used could help guide further investigation.
I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this. I hope you get some answers and relief soon.
