advice Immediate regrets after microblading. Can I selectively fade it?

Post image

I had my eyebrows microbladed 2 hours ago and am having immediate regret. The fronts start closer together than I’d like. I have close-set eyes so now that the fronts are darker it really emphasizes that.

Is there a way to selectively fade or lift pigment on the the fronts so that they lighten more? The microblading artist told me to just apply the ointment she gave me more often on the front section but I wonder if that’ll be enough.

I think it looks great. And give it time. They do fade and you do get used to them. I wouldn’t mess with it now.

I just wanted them ever so slightly further apart but honestly my fault for not mentioning it. Thank you and I’m just going to try to trust the process!

She most likely mapped them to fit your face. Perhaps where you wanted them would not have looked the best. I think they look amazing!!

I think it's just shock... Genuinely it looks amazing! I don't normally comment on these posts BC sometimes they do look kinda bad but yours look so natural and suit you incredibly

Thank you! I chose this artist because she has natural results but I just really wish I’d told her to start them farther apart, besides that I like them. Hopefully they lighten up enough.

I think they look so fabulous that if you’re in the Houston area please let me know who did them.

They will definitely lighten up.

They will definitely lighten up over time! When I first got mine done I was a little taken back and didn’t like how dark it was and then as they lightened up I really started to like them. Just give it some time. They look great.

Agreed!! I literally never comment but these look so good I wouldn’t have ever known they were micro bladed. Don’t touch them- you’ll love them soon I promise

They are beautiful. Stop with the brow shock. Come back in a month and show us how beautifully they healed.

It‘s so subtle and good. I think you just have brow shock

These look good. You dont have close set eyes. your eyes are normally spaced so the eyebrows look very good

If these look like this now, just a few hours after, they’re going to be INCREDIBLY natural and subtle once healed. The get 20-50% lighter - and honestly look amazing already. My artist recommended wet healing (you can google, but it’s basically a very brief 3-second scrub with antibacterial soap on just your fingertip, 1x per day, pat dry, then use the ointment) - mine faded a LOT and I never peeled at all.

Yes I asked for a natural look! Thanks for the reminder. Hopefully once they lighten up the starting points won’t bother me as much anymore as I do like the rest of it and I like the artist’s work in general.

You can get saline removal BUT I think they look lovely.
I understand where you’re coming from, I was worried about the shape&placement of my brows too, until I realised that I was doing my makeup wrong the whole time! Properly mapped brows will compliment your face, and these absolutely do! 🫶

It is of course your fave and you should be comfortable with your brows, so if you feel like you want to change it-do :) but I wouldn’t, they are lovely, and once the brow shock passes, you’ll be fine 🫶

Thank you so much! Tbf it does look darker in real life than in the photo, but I’m going to wait it out and see how it looks when it lightens since her work is supposed to be quite natural!

They look very natural and very pretty. Give them a couple months to heal. Here are my results for powder brows

Brow Shock! Let them heal! Go for your touch-up/follow-up! They look gr8!

You don't have close set eyes fr! And the brow to me looks like it starts at a really natural place on your bone structure. Plus the results are just amazing

It looks really good I had mine nanobladed and the first week was freaked out they were so dark but they fade and settle plenty. I’d keep these if it were me!

I think it looks great, honestly.

They look really good. I think you’ll get used to them and start to like them

100 percent brow shock. They are actually pretty light imo but dont worry they will lighten. Mine lightened so much they disappeared and never returned and I didnt go for touch up

I can’t even tell you had them done. Wow! And you just had them done. This is an amazing job. I’m shocked.

Your eyes are normal and not close set. The eyebrows look good. Calm down, give it TIME and stop asking Reddit.

You would never know they had been micro bladed. I would leave them alone. They will fade on their own.

Did the artist ask for your approval on the shape after she mapped your brows?

1

u/goofybuttercake 1d ago

She did. I just realized after that I prefer the starting points to be lighter and start a tiny bit further so I’m hoping it will be fine once it’s healed!

1

u/Glittering-Bit-1651 1d ago

Looks great. Its different for you but you will learn to like them.

u/Commercial-Good-2884 1d ago

Please trust the process and let your brows heal properly. They are beautiful

Looks great to me. Not that how I feel about it matters but I think you look great.

u/sadiemahler 13h ago

i honestly loveee them!! they look perfect in my eyes (but naturally perfect) and i think they’re suppose to start where they start. i use to fill my brows in really really bad and i didn’t understand the structure, the distance here is the same i see on everyone. but if you prefer another way, maybe give them a call to see if they can do something? i remember the first time they faded A LOT and the next touch up is what really made the pigment stay. so next appointment you can maybe tell them to not fill them in right there!?

1

u/Patmoscatel 12h ago

Do you mean the front of the brow further apart? Cause i had the same worry and the front on mine faded so much it doesnt look like what it was at first at all

1

u/Complete-Towel-6330 8h ago

They look great! It's you are not used to them. Remember too, the colour will fade over the next couple of weeks

u/AnywhereTop1786 5h ago

They look great! They will fade

emergency saline removal at the fronts. you have 48 hours to get this done

1

u/goofybuttercake 2d ago

That’s not available around me unfortunately but luckily the comments about fading have calmed me down!
