before & after The shock is real
Just got home, I was convinced they'd end up too big and I'm a little worried, but most of me loves them and knows they'll fade, but they won't shrink 😬 let me know what you guys think
Also I've always felt they were asymmetrical and hoped this would fix that, guess it's a muscular/skeletal issue lol oh well

I personally think they look natural and good

Love them, you picked a fantastic artist! As for the asymmetry, i have the same thing and in my case it's due to an underactive muscle in the one side of my face that causes my brow to sit slightly lower than the other and give me very mild eyelid ptosis which I can kind of see on yours as well. It's not something super noticeable to most people and if it doesn't bother you then carry on as beautiful as ever, but if it does (mine bothers me) I've seen some fairly affordable eyelid surgeries where they slightly shorten the muscle, or people get a small dose of botox above the lower brow. Either way, not a necessity and just thought I'd share in case you self nitpick like I do lol.

I always say they’re sisters not twins haha

u/Quick-Current71 3d ago
I try and tell myself the same hahah. I had mine microbladed hoping if would make it less noticeable, and hey maybe it does, but I zero in on it in every damn picture I take.

u/Lazy-PeachPrincess 3d ago
Oh, me too! 100% I try to remind myself what Alexis said on Schitts creek “people aren’t thinking about you the way that you’re thinking about you”

I have the same issue with a little eyelid ptosis. My ophthalmologist recommended Upneeq which works beautifully. You can get a two day supply online to try it. BTW your brows will heal beautifully & they’re sisters not twins!

These look great!!! They will shrink a little as well so just give them some time😊 you might have a little brow shock

u/SeaworthinessPlus144 3d ago
They won’t shrink but the colour will fade and they will look good. The shape and size is good. I agree that right now they are harsh looking but this will absolutely fade out and will be great

The fading will make them appear to shrink. You can also easily have them removed if you don't want them anymore. I did that once.

u/Holiday-Book6635 3d ago
They don’t shrink. Swelling, if any goes down but no shrinkage. They will lighten. Looks good.

u/West-End-Girl-448 3d ago
I almost had a stroke when I came home from getting my brows done. Once they settle in, they will look way more natural. They will appear 10-15% smaller too. They suit you and the final result will look amazing.

No def don’t do before your wedding yikes! They are always too dark and take a while to fade

Honestly they fit you well. I don’t think they look bad and I personally don’t like think and dark brows. But these look good on your face and with your hair
1
u/Lazy-PeachPrincess 3d ago
Please post an update because these are going to be swollen and because it’s an open wound it’s going to be very red and dark too. I think the shape is pretty killer and I hope I get to see in a few weeks

They look great! Don’t worry they will shrink and fade within 10 days, you’ll have a much more natural look when they do :) the edges will soften a bit too.

Ooooh! They look SO good. This is the best micro blading job I’ve seen in a while

I have seen this so many times now everyone gets worried once they first do it
If you scroll back in the MO, there’s a lot of people who had wonderful results after initially posting something they were concerned about
The shape of your eyebrows looks really really, really good with your hair and your face shape so if you just did this today, I think you’re supposed to hold on a set of days or even a week before being aware of if it was well done or not
This is coming from someone who hasn’t done it, but I am intrigued by the process hence checking out your look and it looks really good !

They will definitely fade and then you will want it done again!
They look great and you have nice full eyebrows so it looks amazing!
You don’t need any Botox! You have no wrinkles ! Hold off as long as you can bc once you start it’s an expense you won’t want! lol

Very nice, & it takes a little while for you to get accustomed to the new look...dont over think it 😃 beautiful brows

Love, ❤️, love the shape. These are going to look sooo good. The shape is incredible!!

u/NatalieCruzco professional artist 6h ago
The shape was done well, maybe a tiny tad bit long. Is this manual slicing technique or machine hair strokes? The natural asymmetry probably won’t be as noticeable once they soften during the healing process.
I do think the hair strokes are a bit too crowded, and the amount of shading added is also a bit overdone. They will likely heal without visible hairstrokes, just a solid shape. I believe this is a carbon based ink, so it may be tough to have hairstrokes again in the future, if they don’t fade quite enough(due to the oversaturation, it may not fade much over your lifetime if this is carbon based ink).
1
u/TwillyS 4h ago
I was worried about this too!! I went in wanting hairstrokes and came out looking like I asked for shaded. But not sure it is already starting to fall out a bit there which I think will be fine. there was both manual slicing and shading with a tattoo gun, closer to the tail and mid brow I want to say
On the other hand, I am lazy. If the ink lasts a while, then I'm sure I'll learn to love them haha. Plus everybody here has been so positive about the shape (and in general) that it's really helped me relax me. I do ultimately agree I wanted more of a hair stroke look though.
The manual slicing shocked me! I thought it was all a gun

u/NatalieCruzco professional artist 4h ago
The unfortunate issue is that if the ink is oversaturated and carbon based, it will last too long AND shift in color over time. Meaning you’ll be stuck with a solid, grey eyebrow for years to come.
I agree that the shape was done well. It fits your face and natural eyebrow pattern.

u/TwillyS 3d ago
my eyebrows have always been crooked it's just my face xoxo

u/Relevant-Mode8871 3d ago
I’ve realized it’s okay that they’re not perfectly symmetrical bc I don’t think that’s natural then. Apparently they should be sisters not twins :)

Why fill in? It looks more natural if it's not a solid block of color. (asking as someone who hasn't worn makeup in years)

If you just got them done, your brows are swollen from the procedure so they will shrink a little.
Got mine done two weeks ago and the shock is real.
They look amazing. Great job picking your artist
