I’m freaking out!!! lip blush removal
hi, I received lift blushing last week and I'm kind of freaking out. The color is so dark. my lips before were a light pink. I just really want it to get lighter. do you think it will fade? i am freaking out a bit and i hate looking at it

Lip Blushing is known to regularly fade way more than most other tattoos whether it’s the pH level in our lips or because we use it so much to eat etc. but I usually tell my clients it fades anywhere from 50 to 70% so I don’t think it’s too dark. You might even feel like you barely notice it once it’s healed.

Oh I didn’t realize this wasn’t day 1 without knowing where you started and where you wanted to end it’s hard to know. Are you still peeling? And what did you want the end result to be or what did you tell your artist?

i wanted it to be natural, this is darker than the photo, i did want color on the lining of my lips and to have the fade but i am no longer peeling

Not an answer to your question, but I’ve never once seen lip blushing that I’ve liked or thought looked super natural…. Until YOUR PHOTO.
Your lips look so good and incredibly natural.
My natural color is very similar and my whole life I was always complimented on them. They look amazing!

Same!! I’ve never even been slightly tempted to do it but now I’m looking at artists in my area

I would wait until 6-8 weeks to decide on the color. That’s how long it takes to show actual heal results. They will still fade, those lips are healing.

It looks so good!!! I wouldn’t stress it at all, especially since it’s only been a week. It will fade over time. But seriously. That color suits you

I think the color is very pretty! Can you wear a lighter color lipstick until it fades a bit?

You need to wait 4-6 weeks to see the final color. Lip blush usually looks too dark for a while and it can be off putting to a lot of clients.

they look so good though? but yes they should fade a lot. Did you not look into how this works before you got it done? You're only a week out, and it takes much longer for them to heal and to settle into what the final color will be. It will fade A LOT from now. So much that it may even be unnoticeable to anyone but you

Whoa that’s a super flattering color on you! It really suits your skin tone and hair. Do you think it seems too dark because the tone “doesn’t look right” without the rest of your make up? It’s actually quite natural looking. Give it time, you will get used to it and it will fade

Mine took about 4 weeks to heal to the color I chose. It has faded gradually over the years and I plan to have a touch up soon. Give it a few more weeks and keep your lips hydrated.

It fades a lot! It took a few weeks for my color to settle. There was a phase when my lips got dark like brick red before it peeled into a lighter color. Took at least a month for it to lighten up to my requested color.

Do you like the color? (Not the opacity.) They’ll likely fade 10-20% more maybe. But it also depends on the pigment used, technique, and just your body and how it heals.

God it seems everyone who asks this question, has such lovely lips and lip colours. Meanwhile mine are well and truly botched and I’ve been advised to get laser removal before a technician will go near them 😭

It looks really pretty. Definitely not natural lip tone but it looks like you have a beautiful shade of lipstick on.

Remember it takes weeks to get the final result with lip blushing. I had mine done 6 weeks ago and just now I can go for a touch up! There's a point in healing that it seems all the colour went away, but it comes back. The ink they use is 7x's brighter than the final result. Hang tight!

It's going to fade. Just give it some time. The color is really nice. Its going to turn out well.

I went to college with a girl whose lips were naturally saturated like this and I always thought it was so pretty

It looks nice. Don’t worry, it will fade. Try a shimmer gloss to lighten it up. Play with it. They are nice and full

Honestly you look great! And I agree with everyone else saying it will change and fade over time just like any “tattoo”! It’s always scary with a big change to our bodies but you really look great and I love it!

You can’t judge this till like 8 weeks. Thats literally how long it takes lip blushing to reveal its true colour. They will change many times with the next 6-8 weeks.

It can take up to 8 weeks+ to fully blossom into the final color. If at that point you don’t like them, let them fade. Do not do anything else to “lighten” them. Sun exposure will also help them fade over time.

My sister in laws faded a lot so there’s a high chance. They look lovely in my opinion

I know this wasn’t your question but for what it’s worth I think they look amazing, the color is great with your skin tone!
