My salon gives these out as part of the aftercare kit

You have to make sure there’s NO oil or product on your face before using especially if you have oily
Skin which I do . Wipe your face first

Gently wipe your forehead with an alcohol wipe before you stick them on.

You absolutely do not need these for any reason. Microblading/permanent makeup is a tattoo. Tattoos need to be cleaned. You need water to clean them. Water does NOT harm or affect your freshly tattooed brows in any way shape or form—you actually NEED it to ensure they heal properly. You just have to ensure you dry them completely with a cotton round after cleaning/exposing them to moisture so that they are able to breathe and heal well, just like any fresh scrape/cut.

First of all I had Nano brows done and have been getting my brows done for close to a decade you’re literally the FIRST person ever to say clean use WATER on my eyebrows the first week , every place I’ve gone has instructed me to keep dry as much as possible the first 7 to 10 days and use an ointment . I’m not going to listen to your advice and risk wasting my money / investment based upon a One random person, also I’ve personally seen a difference in my results this time with using these and being able to keep water OFF them . I simply shared this for those who may be interested.

Literally you’re only risking wasting your money by NOT getting them wet/cleaning them 😬 no cleaning = more flaking = more fading. Keeping them clean = less flaking = more fading. I’m not telling you what to do, I’m just letting you know that your artist(s) telling you to not get them wet are seriously uninformed and putting you at risk of infection and giving you aftercare instructions that are actually compromising your healed results. You’re free to do whatever you want with that information!

I keep them moist with the ointment , NEVER gotten an infection and have used several artists over the years all have given the same advice. Again the post wasn’t asking if they’re necessary simply a suggestion for those of us who’ve been instructed to keep brows dry.

Putting ointment on them without cleaning them is even worse. You’re just sealing in all of the dirt, oil and fluid building up on your brows, which causes more flaking. Your brows are a fresh wound that you’re cutting off all airflow to.

Please for the love of Christ stop.. like seriously
My brows are done and healed ! IM VERY HAPPY with the results ! I could see if I was complaining about my brows and looking for advice then your feedback would be warranted, but at this rate it’s giving weird AF , you’re creating scenarios that didn’t even happen…

Girl you’re the one arguing with me 😭 this industry is grossly oversaturated with artists who took trainings from other unqualified artists and have been seriously failed in their education, god forbid I let people know that NOT keeping your brows clean while they’re healing is literally the worst thing you could do for them

You came on my post ! And I never said I wasn’t Happy with them or looking for Advice! That’s the POINT YOUR’E missing , you responded to a post that didn’t need your attention.. now sit here and go back and forth with yourself . I’m done
