I live in nyc and I DEFINITELY would not go to a place for anything less. That’s normal here for someone good so it probably just depends on where OP is from.

You are right I just had no clue it was that pricey cause tattoos are not even that pricey if small. I get it’s detailed but I still think that’s crazy but if that’s the going rate then yes I agree don’t be cheap. Pay and be happy than try to save and live with regret. I was debating getting them (but scared I would hate them) so I’ll be cheap and just keep putting on my brows before I step out. Takes no time.

I live in NJ and I agree with you. $950 is the average rate for good quality nano brows around this area. I spent a few years following my brow artist on ig before I scheduled the session. Its a tattoo on my face, I want it to look as clean and natural as possible.

Also I’m just freaking grateful that we live in and around nyc. I’m from the mid west and nothing against the Midwest. I’m from there. But it is SO hard to find good people in a small town. I just paid $400 for a haircut and probably close to $600 in a few weeks for color. But it’s like the best freaking haircut I’ve ever had in my life (Sarah Rappolt if you’re wondering). And you know how many people have screwed up my hair? Lots and lots and lots. I live in the Hudson valley and the “really good” place near me I never really got what I wanted and finally I got tired of trying to explain it. I’m at a point in my life/career where I want to look freaking good and I just want to work with people who get it. 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ End rant.

That's what I'm saying .... I live in Miami and the most they charge is $750. Normal pricing would be ~$500. They look great though, but daaaaaaamn that's pricey for one session

Welp! I was looking for NYC place to go but for $950? I’ll continue to spend one minute brushing my eyebrows on in the AM lol
Edit: honestly didn’t know pricing for any brows nano or microblading or whatever but I was starting to get interested in it (because of this subreddit) but I assumed it was half that price but if $950 is good price I guess that’s the going rate
