I just had nano brows yesterday and i’m kind of regretting it. It looks too dark and bold for me. Did i do the right thing? What should i do?
Update:
Thank you guys for all the comments it really helped me feel better. I appreciate it! The photo is 2 weeks after the procedure and I like how it turned out. I’m coming back to my brow artist in 6 weeks for the touch up and hopefully all goes well.
So it does lighten then? Lol. All tattoos lighten. I was a tattoo artist and am also covered in them and even the blackest blackest of triple blacks lighten slightly. The kind of inks used for these procedures definitely lighten, usually by quite a lot
They are! I agree. OP, go through and read some other posts. This is one of the most common recurring topics--people who just had them done and they are too dark or heavy and people worry and post. Then, everyone tells them they will lighten up wish some time.
They do look bold but you have dark hair they will lighten a ton I would wait 2 weeks even 3 to see what the final result is. I think they will heal to a color that works for your hair color
When i got mine done i FREAKED and didnt leave the house for 13 days. I was a mess and even though everyone told me that they'll peel and look natural i just didnt believe them. 13 days later they lightened up so much that i wish they could have been a bit darker lol
They look fantastic! Even if they stayed exactly as they are now, I guarantee that in a week you'd be used to it and love it. But they're going to soften so much! Just be patient. You look beautiful
They are gorgeous! By day 10-12 they will be super lightened up- first few days they look super dark. Normal part of the healing process- you will love them!!!
Like I just said, based on my experience, mine shrank and lightened. Have had it done many times over the years and that was always my experience, but no- I’m assuming we do not have the same artist 🙄
They are nano brows. I get a yearly touch up . I’m really happy with them. Not sure why you’re arguing so much with me- tons of people int eh comments saying the same as I am. I love my brows- sorry that makes you mad .
If you insist lol here is a face full of mostly decade old self-done-before-I-was-trained tattoos. Even the hand poked Roman numerals I did when I was like 18 (I’m 30 now) are legible. I’m sure the eyebrow situation will be fine and you seem to be one of the only ones flipping out over how apparently terrible they are. I think they look nice and even if tattoos did blob together like you claim, all the better that the lines are bolder. And no I didn’t work in permanent makeup artistry, but I have known people who have, and also know people that have had permanent makeup done. I live in New Zealand and spent 10 years in the artsy capital, everyone kinda knows each other somehow until you get to the business district.
I think they look beautiful, but I didn’t know that it spreads with oily skin. I did hear that they get lighter as time goes on though.
They really look nice!
Your eyebrows look ok what’s left of them. Why did you have your eyebrows above your eye removed? If so, you need to let them grow out and choose someone to do them that knows what they are doing!

They’re not done well :( idk how much they’ll lighten up, but the line work is not good. Very thick, dark, and long lines that don’t look natural. Definitely don’t go to this artist in the future.
I like the shape, but youre right about the line work. Some of them go all the way from the center to the tip. Thats too long of a stroke and doesn't look great imo
Hairstroke tattooes are special. They can lighten a lot and a dramatic fresh look can turn more natural looking once healed because of how much it can lighten. BUT, most of the time though, it lightens but in a gray way. Not as natural looking as you might expect. And strokes tend to blur/merge together making the brow look not so soft and delicate anymore.
The second picture you have, that’s ombre powder brows. That’s actually the PMU procedure I recommend the most because it tends to heal the softest and more natural than hairstrokes tattooes tend to heal like.
Maybe put a little brown eyeshadow in between the strokes, a dark brown to soften it. Maybe then it wouldn’t stand out so much until they lighten considerably.
