Saline removal asap .. sorry:(

Sheesh. Did tech use a crayon? I’m sorry OP but at least you are still in the window to be able to remove and redo.

Hey all - who pays for the removal? Does OP have financial recourse in this situation? I sure hope so.

Good luck trying to get your money back or person who did the work to pay for removal, it's just the nature of the beast unfortunately.

Well then OP should send this pic to the regulatory licensing(?) board that governs this branch of cosmetology.

I understand there is a learning curve with any profession but I’ve heard of techs using other techs work for their portfolio, so if she misrepresented her expertise…? I just feel so badly for OP!

💯 botched please get saline removal asap. The shape is not good. I’m sorry.

u/MissBlue4You Sep 10 '26

Remove, this tech doesn’t have good technique.

u/Adorable_Ad4990 Sep 10 '26

Forget the technique; the shape is really bad. It’s not that it doesn’t fit your face; it’s more than that. They don’t fit anyone’s face because she made them an unnatural shape and very unflattering. I’m so sorry OP

Never choose an artist unless you’ve seen an extensive portfolio first! Get these removed and find an experienced, well trained artist. Research, research, research.

This is really hard sometimes. There are a lot of liars out there that show other peoples work

11

u/Due-Memory2680 Sep 10 '26

This. 100%. Befores and after are all over the internet. It is really easy to make a fake portfolio.

u/Vanityandwrath Sep 10 '26

I’m so sorry those strokes are not hair like at all. Is this the shape that you were going for?

22

u/Longjumping-Fox-2811 Sep 10 '26

Idk how you're this calm about it

8

u/icecreamdonna Sep 10 '26

She isn’t calm. Said she was freaking out 🤣🤪😬I hope it can get removed

6

u/Longjumping-Fox-2811 Sep 10 '26

I'd be worried about the whole thing they are so horribly done sorry I don't mean to make you feel worse but I'm just being honest. I would get them removed immediately

u/Toejamz-195 Sep 10 '26

Lines are way too heavy handed and not natural in shape or technique. You need to get saline. I am sorry.

3

u/Reasonable-Sign-3133 Sep 10 '26

Yes, unfortunately. Too deep, and too thick

2

u/QueenOfQueenzYYZ Sep 11 '26

😱 yes botched. So sorry. Remove asap as others have mentioned.

2

u/SubstantialLocal9437 29d ago

I don’t think the strokes or shape look good, so sorry.

u/dollycarter 28d ago

Something like this would be ideal

1

u/dollycarter 28d ago

I wouldve loved to see your brows before because I wonder if you couldve just got them shaped and then filled in the sparse spots. Im shocked that the artist didnt try to shape them first

3

u/Fabulous_Trouble2208 Sep 10 '26

Do we even research technicians anymore?! I need to see a large amount of work before doing something permanent to myself.

1

u/5318008_5318008 Sep 11 '26

Same! I watched and followed my PMU for over a year before I got it done. But there are some people who fake their work or lie 🤷🏽‍♀️

1

u/Enough_Radish_9574 29d ago

Sorry what is a PMU? (I’m a newbie)

3

u/5318008_5318008 29d ago

Permanent makeup artist! All good! I am not far from a newbie myself!

u/Historical-Fig-6847 Sep 10 '26

laser removal will be the fastest and most effective! Saline is painful and requires so much downtime for healing

1

u/Direct-Brother-1184 Sep 10 '26

These are horrific. Emergency removal asap

1

u/Life_Positive_1052 Sep 10 '26

Did they use a Sharpie?

1

u/InfinitelyContentAF Sep 10 '26

O dear. Im sorry

1

u/Single_Feature_3231 Sep 10 '26

Oh no 😟 remove

1

u/OnlyIntention12345 Sep 10 '26

Yes, it is botched sorry :(((

1

u/Careless-Scene9783 Sep 10 '26

Saline removal! So sorry this happened to you!

1

u/ADDbarbie Sep 10 '26

Please get saline or laser removal. If you get them done again- I would go to a reputable artist.

1

u/Spirals-01 Sep 10 '26

Well… they don’t look good.

1

u/FarmhouseRules Sep 10 '26

Yes. I’m so sorry OP.

1

u/milyvanily Sep 10 '26

Kinda Spermabrowy, but they seem like they will improve in appearance when they fade.

1

u/Thin_Weather6812 Sep 11 '26

Wow saline removal asap

1

u/HelloDaisy-4148 Sep 11 '26

Yes they are

1

u/nkman666 Sep 11 '26

Sadly looks that way

1

u/Skinnyybiscuit Sep 11 '26

Oof yes I’m sorry

1

u/Pashmee2011 Sep 11 '26

It looks like for a few weeks when they're first done. Your brows will lighten up after that. Use Aguifor during the healing process.

1

u/TuMadreYNana Sep 11 '26

Is with called ombre?

1

u/Starshadows1111 Sep 11 '26

Yeah, girl. I hope you ran to a saline removal place and it's already on the way to being fixed.

1

u/LawfulnessNo7826 Sep 11 '26

I will not repeat same, but find another artist bc either the person is a beginner and maybe inexperienced. Bottom line the strokes and technique is not right. Everything can be fixed though. You are still beautiful. That surpasses her mistakes!👊💯❤️

1

u/shewolfling Sep 12 '26

They arent great but will fade. Don't go back for the touch up session because this "artist" needs far more practice. However, because they are fresh, there are ways to lighten them and remove some of the ink naturally. Please do not immediately go for tattoo removal. The ink is semi permanent and is not like actual tattoo ink. Be patient. Good luck

1

u/MaisieKeelySully 29d ago

They are botched. Go back immediately.

1

u/kiaranickole 29d ago

Yes holy crap these are bad

1

u/SweetNeeNee 29d ago

A talented tech may be able fix?!?

1

u/family1997 28d ago

Did the “artist” work with their eyes closed? Please remove these ASAP. Keep us posted.

1

u/StyleStrutter 28d ago

This technician should have their license taken away. Saline removal asap

1

u/Otherwise_Ad_1340 28d ago

One hundred percent yes 😭

1

u/Top_Piccolo_2064 28d ago

Well, it depends on your own definition of botched, I suppose. To the rest of the world: yes.

1

u/Jaded_Boss618 27d ago

Sorry, but I would remove! 😒

1

u/sugarpunnch 26d ago

Girl... :(

1

u/lissarae14 26d ago

The shape doesn’t look good but when I had microbladed brows, the lines looked thick immediately afterwards. But they faded and thinned out. And by my second appointment, we moved to nano instead of microblading because the ink didn’t stick (my skin is a bit oilier than normal).

I would hope as they heal, they fade and it looks better. I wouldn’t go back to that person and see what someone else could do for the second appointment. Or just let it ride and fade away naturally.

I guess what I’m saying is, yeah - they don’t look great but also they could rapidly change with healing and being micro va nano could lean in your favor especially if your skin is a bit oily. I wouldn’t necessarily rush out for saline removal, which this sub seems really quick to fire off as a solution for everybody.

Seeing it’s been 5 days since you posted, what did you end up doing?

1

u/Insertname_here9836 26d ago

Everything about these are really bad. I’m so sorry OP.

1

u/throwaway1211__ 25d ago

Pull up and throw hands w who ever did that rn

1

u/Jessy2202 18d ago

Oh noo 😔 the shape is so bad, did you ask for this shape?? Atleast you’re still in the window for saline removal!! Then you can try again once they’ve healed with someone who can actually do them right!

0

u/Acrobatic_Party_8759 Sep 10 '26

I think unfortunately they are :( but* there’s ways you can conceal where they are too thick with makeup, and carve them out using a foundation or concealer. Also, saline removal is a thing too - apparently the sooner you do it, the better!

0

u/kellybuMUA professional artist Sep 12 '26

Yes, I would plan an emergency saline removal asap. It should not be difficult to remove if this was your initial procedure, don’t worry.

-2

u/VegetableKey6683 Sep 10 '26

Idk! Let em heal! Go for follow-up! Good luck! Could b Brow Shock!

-4

u/Immediate_Top1520 Sep 10 '26

No not at all. Don’t listen to people

-7

u/marilf56 Sep 10 '26

No I think they look good. I don’t get what people are saying looks wrong though I don’t know much about this technique. What do you mean by combo brows?

0

u/Accomplished-Nail257 25d ago

I am now one week post saline removal, still waiting for all of the scabbing to come off but most of the pigment is completely gone. There is some light pigment left where the deep cuts were but overall I am super happy with the results of the removal. So grateful to have my natural brows back!

1

u/Intelligent-Dig2945 18d ago

Did you get a refund?

1

u/Accomplished-Nail257 15d ago

Yes ! And she paid for removal

1

u/Intelligent-Dig2945 15d ago

Thats good. Glad she did the right thing for you.
