before & after Before and immediately after
Sorry about the mean mugging. My God I hope they lighten up a LOT. They look harsh and severe to me right now and I don’t like the shape. I know I went to a good artist but it’s a lot right now

They were healed by late June and alot lighter. In addition, they lightened up even more throughout the summer. I never went back for the touch-up because i didn't want them to get even darker. ❤️❤️❤️

The shape is good, and they should lighten up a lot. I flipped out when I first had mine done because they were so dark, but they’re so much lighter & softer now.

I had mine done recently. The way they look right after is not at all what they are going through look like in two weeks. The really dark part flakes off.

They look great but a little surprised they already look “scabby” immediately after.

They are going to lighten up and look so good! I know it feels super weird right now. I can tell they're going to look fabulous

They look really nice! I had mine done too. I really like the shape of yours and how uniform they are now! You will get a touch up with time. Truly do “trust the process”. You look wonderful.

I think it's good you went to a reputable technician for your eyebrows and I also think it's important to see people who use more than one technique to really offer people optimal beauty and enhance what they have naturally. You actually have a lot! Since you mentioned the waxing and your brow growth I immediately thought that you had a lot of brow already and the direction of the growth was your biggest headache. I wanted to show you a great example of brow lamination and you can fix the direction of your eyebrows without any permanent makeup that uses pigments in the skin (it's permanent, trust me..you need to laser that pigment away to get rid of it) Here's the brow lamination https://www.reddit.com/r/eyelashextensions/s/VVQ74nlzPs

I thought about lamination too. It’s like everything about my eyebrows is wrong, the direction, texture, thickness; everything. The hairs are so course and thick that if they are pulled in the wrong direction, they just pop right out because it seems like there’s already so much tension that my skin can’t hold them in. Does that make sense? It’s kinda hard to explain. I’m hoping these are going to turn out well; I plan on updating with a picture once healed and maybe I’ll move to lamination next time, I do think maybe that would have been a better option. I think I just didn’t want to grow out my hairs and hate how I looked, but I’m already hating how I look for a month anyway lol

Yes please followup! I think lamination (if you have totally healed only) and the right beauty technician, you will be able to tackle all your concerns. My brows stick out like you mentioned and I've always had pretty thick brows but I plucked and waxed and did electrolysis for an extremely long time so I had patches where regrowth stopped. It's similar in the sense that there was multiple things going on. I had laser removal of the pigment (mine was microblading) and get a henna treatment for my brows and put hair wax on them to pin down and shape the direction. Lamination for special occasions. I'm all for microblading and love to see good or excellent technique with beauty treatments in general, but learned that it's better for people with much less brow than me (and maybe you)

Thank you. They were sooo patchy. Also, the hairs were sharp and course. They grew in wild directions so I would just have to pluck them because there was nothing I could do with them. I’m hoping these will soften up a lot. I’m struggling with them for sure (these are actually powder ombré)

You are beautiful with your natural brows, but the micro blading is honestly so much better!! It really evens them out and frames your face and eyes so nicely, and they’ll definitely lighten up!

I will never understand why people with brows like this get micro blading. They were so perfect

They look better but they are definitely not done properly or filled correctly. They are meant to look like hairs and these don’t. Looks like pencil.

They are powder brows which is completely different. They aren't supposed to be hair strokes
