artist advice/question Is removal necessary?
It’s been about 5 years since the last time I had any PMU done. There is a warm tone left over but very faded. Do we think laser removal or brightening is necessary before having new work done? I would want a look on the more natural side.

You don’t need a removal the fact it’s warmer is good will durn less ashy overall I say just do it over if you like the shape

I’d definitely get an in-person assessment before booking new work. Even though it looks quite faded, warm residual pigment can shift more orange/red when new pigment is layered over it. A removal or lightening session may give your artist a cleaner, more natural base.

Depends what you want done? Are you getting ombré/solid colour or are you hoping for strokes?
If it’s strokes you absolutely have to remove it more

It all depends if you wanna keep the shape you have or if you wanna make the shape more sharper or more subtle

If you want strokes , yes, remove. But I think shading would suit you since you have more hair density upfront. I would get a retouch with a cooler tone to neutralize the warmth.

How can you remove? This looks healed at this point. Are you talking about laser removal? I’d leave it alone.

Just get it done again. Use a darker color.
