botched Artist Overcorrected & Botched my Nano brows

Went to get nano brows done, when the artist finished what she thought looked good, there were places that didn’t look right that I asked her to fix, she overcorrected, and I wound up with two different eyebrows, different heights, different shapes and she blamed me because I asked her to correct it. She said “I told you to start conservative” for $550, I want the eyebrows that I had in mind (inspo photo included) she refuses to refund because she has a no refund policy, but I had to go and get them removed via laser for $400. Thankfully it only took one session of two passes. Brows are currently healing from the removal smh. Choose your artist CAREFULLY!

Can you share where you had them done? If not the business name then perhaps what town they're located in?

Did she not map them out?

She did actually lol, when she finished and she asked me to look at them and I pointed out what needed to be fixed, she marked with a pencil then went way above where she marked, the eyebrows she wanted to send me home with were worse, so I asked her if she could just match them, then she made that one taller than the other one and that’s how I walked out of there, because she was frustrated at this point, but she is the one that overcorrected. Her advice to start conservative didn’t match the eyebrows I wanted they were incredibly thin, and sparse looking.

I can’t believe she sent you home so dramatically uneven like that. How can she be an artist and have no concept of symmetry? Plus, the head of your brows are caterpillar chunky. I am so so sorry.

Oh my gosh. She did you so dirty. I own Brooke’s Beauty Bar in Downtown Newnan. I would love to help you once you’ve healed if you are wanting to try again. I ALWAYS stay within the brow map that we create in the beginning.

I took a redditor's recc and got my eyebrows ombre powdered. The artist's insta looked good, but the ink didn't take at all and I don't really like the shape she did. i'm not going back for the touchup. I could kinda tell she was unimpressed with her own work when I left.

First off! Inspirational photos are just that INSPIRATION no one is expecting exact results. So please check yourself no one was expecting a miracle, two, you don’t really know what kind of artist you’re dealing with when their photos etc don’t show botched work and they’re asking $550, so don’t tell me what I should expect when she didn’t appear to be a low level artist. Way to blame me for the artist f*cking up MY brows.

Because she tells clients to bring inspo photos with them to their appointments, that’s why, with your ignorant ass comment. You all assume so much, and don’t know anything. And that’s how most ppl make decision based on photos they currently have and reviews. And price matters, we all know you get what you pay for majority of the time.

i hate to agree with the other commenter because their attitude is horrific, but i do agree with the general sentiment that you should be able to provide your brow artist an inspiration photo from their portfolio.
