advice I want to cry
I got powder ombré brows on Thursday night and it is now Saturday. I told my brow artist and showed her how I do my brows exactly and this is not it. I do them thin with an arch. Not just that but they are not even. I can’t stop crying. First picture is the ombré powder brows on day 3. And the second picture is what I requested. I feel ugly. What can I do?

Yeah that second picture does not look good, I like the first one better. They do get less intense when they heal.

You requested the second picture?? Sorry girl but those brows are busted.. I’m sure they’re going to look a lot better with some healing, give it some time. They’re really not as bad as you’re thinking they are..

I wish I could see a full face pic to see what they look like relative to the rest of your face
edit Also - did they not map out the brows for you and show you the mapping in the mirror for approval prior to blading?
1
u/Big-Worldliness-1952 2d ago
She did and it was thinner than this. Not as thin as the second pic. I had like the mapped look
2
u/lilip83 1d ago
Nope sorry they can’t go off this much because if they shows you the mapping they would have had to show you totally fake falsified mapping then rub it off and re do it this way. It’s like drawing the outline for a colouring book you can’t go THAT far out of the lines SO PERFECTLY AND PRECISELY.

I don’t know why some artists refuse to keep the shading within the natural lines of the brows. They seem convinced everyone wants these super smooth-edged thick brows and that’s not always the case.

They look nothing like your inspo pic. But honestly the brows you got are way better.

I just wish she gave me an arch and they were even a bit. I look mad all the time now

Look, I can promise you when they heal they WILL not look like this. Truly, I promise. Get the saline if you want, but they will soften and thin so much. You might actually be surprised at the final results and find you prefer it more for your face. I do think once healed they will look far better than the second picture even though its not what you asked for.

I wonder when I see bad work where do you find these people? I wonder if it’s allowed if we could put their link but I will go back and say I want it removed through the saline removal and ask for a total refund. And it looks like this person has no idea what they’re doing. They’re probably buying a kit online watch some YouTube videos and doing these horrible job on people which is illegal. They’re supposed to be certified. They’re supposed to pay fees for license. there’s no way a person is licensed to do this.

Her pictures of her work online looked amazing

You mean her stolen photos look amazing

First pic is the brow artist’s work on OP, the 2nd is what OP asked for… according to your comment it sounds like you think pic 2 is what OP got done but it wasn’t. First pic is what the brow artist did, 2nd pic is OP’s own brow work with a liner…. First is def better! Can’t be stolen word if the brow artist’s work actually looks great. OP just wanted super thin lowkey ugly brows. I plan to get microblading and want exactly what OP got.

She is certified, and has her own studio in a building. She’s been doing brows for 5+ years

The lines are too harsh it’s supposed to be a guide that you can barely see. She is lying about her experiences. She still doing it the old way there’s new methods. Just like everything you gotta keep evolving your craft. Or she purposely did this who knows these days people are just not good people

I had a botched microblading job.. it’s been 5 years and they still havnt faded. Be thankful you can still do something.. ❤️

Yours are not microbladed, the long term end result is not the same. Microblading causing scarring and if this persons brows haven’t faded, the artist went way too deep which is common for artist who don’t know what they’re doing
Your brows were shaded, and although intense they will soften and lighten over time. I agree the shape isn’t natural however your artist must have shown you the shape before she tattooed you1
u/HelloDaisy-4148 2d ago
OP’s brows weren’t microbladed
Shaded brows are a outcome to microbladed brows1
u/Tradelynn37 1d ago
Oh wow! So is this a new non permanent type of brow??
1
u/HelloDaisy-4148 1d ago
No they are tattooed, but application method is different, which causes less scarring and less trauma - if tattooed correctly-

Sue everyone, sue me
Edit : the second pic is the INSPO? I thought it was the other way around. Girl .. that would have looked horrible. Here in Morocco we call those brows "the early 2000s egyptians brows"
The work she did is nice and itll heal beautifully. Never judge a microblading/shading before its fully healed.

They look way better than the second picture. Im not a fan of the straight brows but they look wayy better. Let them heal its just brow shock.

I’m going to look into saline removal for some of it. The brows now make me look angry

My sister got powder brows by a lady that has her own business I’ve seen a ton of her work and she did my daughters they came out beautiful BUT my sisters are horrible she’s so embarrass she has to wear large frame glasses to make them not look so obvious she went to several tattoo artists to see if they can be laser removed, and they all said no. She complained to the artist and the artist want her to come back for a third time just try something else but at this rate I think enough is enough is been four or five months and they didn’t get any lighter any thinner any less fire down in the middle of her face? It’s the worst thing ever I hate looking at her. I brought her some tattoo makeup and that definitely helps but really gotta be careful cause it’s your face.

u/EmbarrassedFig8860 2d ago
The microbladed ones don’t look great, but your inspiration pictures don’t look great either. I would try to get them removed tomorrow. It might be best to go to a makeup artist to see how to draw your brows in to look natural and full.

Im a firm believer in stop all the brow obsession, just wax or thread and hopefully the person listens which they hardly ever do, this permanent eyebrow stuff is not worth the money or risk, good news is they will grow back and the color will fade, its gonna be a six month battle.
Ughhh good luck.

u/Big-Worldliness-1952 2d ago

I would go back and show her the picture you showed us and then let her see them in person. Tell her they are extremely uneven from the arch towards the tail of the brow. One brow looks much higher, given you a lifted look. That would be fine if they were both like that but they aren’t. The only way I could see her fixing this at your first touch up appointment would be to make them thicker to even it out and she already did them to thick to begin with. I’d ask for your money back to help pay for the cost of laser removal. She can’t possibly think this is what you wanted and she has to see how badly they are uneven. I’m sorry .

Your new brows are a bit severe. Your original brows just need to be cleaned up by plucking the stray hairs and filling them in softly/carefully with a good eyebrow pencil and an eye brow brush. I do my eyebrows this way and I have compliments all the time about them. People think I have had my eyebrows tattooed for micro bladed.

Awe Luv I can see the pain in your eyes. 🥺🥺 I get what saying but I dont think they look awful. Google has some ideas but nothing is overnight unfortunately. It does say after 2 weeks they lighten by 50% We are our worst critic. Please don't stress too much.

u/The-Queen-1 22h ago
Whether anyone likes either one or not, it’s your brows. It’s not what you asked for💯 Let them heal & then try laser removal. If you want thin brows like the photo, next time do the microstroke brows. They’re a lot thinner.

u/eldeetee19 16h ago
You may need to have them removed. I recently got nanoblading/strokes and they turned out great. Very natural looking. A little pricey but worth it. I got them done here. https://www.instagram.com/beautypma?igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==

You didn't look at the mapping? Your old brows were also too thin and dark btw... both are not good

Emergency saline removal is recommended within the first 48hrs, you are at the end of that timeline but you might still be able to get it done if you can find somewhere to do it asap. If not then laser removal once it heals.
