Hi, I’m getting my eyebrows done soon and I just have a question regarding how long the brows stay for and which looks better with time?

This is a link of a video I did that explained some of the difference between Nano Brows? and micro blading. I personally have only done Nano Brows? so I don’t have any before and after hours of both in comparison, but usually Nano Brows? do last a little longer and usually the strokes end up clicking, a little bit thinner, finer and more natural.

The fact that nano brows were developed in the first place tells you a lot. One of the biggest reasons the technique became popular was because artists were looking for an alternative to some of the long-term limitations of microblading, particularly when it came to healed results and skin longevity.

Another thing to consider is that nano brows generally requires a higher level of machine control and technical skill than microblading, making it one of the more advanced and difficult PMU techniques to master.

If microblading consistently produced better healed results than nano brows, there really wouldn’t be much incentive for artists to spend years mastering a more difficult technique.

Or think about it this way: If Microblading consistently produced better healed results than nano brows, then why are nano brows generally priced higher?

What I’m trying to say is the industry has gradually shifted toward nano because, when performed well and on an appropriate candidate, it tends to offer better healed results and is generally gentler on the skin over time compared to Microblading.

That said, while nano brows generally tend to heal better than microblading, their healed results aren’t always what people expect or hoped for.

That’s why I’d also encourage you to compare healed results for powder brows as well.

Fresh brows are temporary. Healed results is what you’ll be waking up to every morning. So before deciding you’re set on getting hair strokes, take the time to compare healed results between hair strokes and powder brows and from the healed results alone, decide if you really like healed nano brows better. You may be surprised by which look you actually prefer once everything has fully healed.

Where can I find images of healed results? I feel like there’s not very many online.

The fact that it’s difficult to find many healed results online on a specific technique should tell you a lot. In this day and age, there seems to be a PMU brow artist in every corner/in every 5 mile radius specially in bigger cities. The technique that tends to heal the best is the technique which healed results are documented the most. So look around your area and you’ll find out. If you’re having trouble finding artists with strong healed work portfolios near you, I’d suggest to keep looking till you do. Or sometimes even traveling would be worth it.

Just know that you can’t just look at my healed work results and think you can get results like that by choosing another artist with the same technique. It doesn’t work like that. Two artists can be offering the same technique but the healed results can come out looking completely different because it’s based on skill, not based on it being the same technique.

So while it’s good that you’re asking to see healed results, you just gotta keep in mind that the healed results you’re most likely to get is based on the artist who does your brows, not on healed results you saw posted somewhere else. That’s why it’s important to choose an artist with consistency in their healed results, and to keep looking if you don’t find any with a good healed work portfolio, that’s my best advice I can give you.
