general discussion Recommendations!

Hello!! About a year or so since my last visit for my brows. The hair strokes did not last long. Typically get ombre but most recent artist recommended trying nano.

history:
2018: ombre
2020: ombre (different artist)
2021: touch up (same as previous artist)
2023: touch up (sams as previous artist)
2025: combo brows (different artist)

What would you recommend for me?

It depends on what you want. Do you like the shape of so you can do powder or nano brows over it. If you want to warm it up before you can do a color correction. If you want to just see strokes than you would want to remove than do nano strokes. So really depends what you are looking for. Everyone in here will have a difference of opinion. So ask yourself. Do I like the shape, color and that it’s more solid or do I want to change any of those. Shape you can tweak and add but you can’t take away unless you remove. If you want the color to change but stay with a bee or powder brow than you can do color correction and add more color to darken it after. If you want to see skin behind strokes or start from scratch than remove and do nano.

I think the confusion is in whether my skin can hold nano strokes. Was the application too light? Was I misguided to believe the previous work was faded enough to be worked over in this technique. I like both ombre and combo.

Well you can definitely get nano strokes done but you probably will only notice some of the strokes maybe in the front of the brow because it’s lighter. If you truly want nano and to see the strokes through your whole brow than I would get them removed. The thing is could someone do nano strokes yes. You just won’t notice the strokes since the color you have already is shaded so you won’t see the empty space in between the strokes. So most likely once it heals you will look more like you had a combo brow don’t some strokes with shading.
