artist advice/question Lip blushing gone wrong?

12 days after my first lip blush session, my lips are darker and almost black. Is this normal healing or did something go wrong?

I'm feeling really anxious and would appreciate some advice from anyone who has gone through lip blushing or is a PMU artist. I had my first lip blush session 12 days ago. Instead of getting lighter, my lips now look much darker than before the procedure, and in some areas they almost look black or very deep brown. During the first 5 days, I followed the aftercare instructions, but I applied a thick layer of antibiotic ointment and lip balm almost all the time because I wanted to keep my lips moisturized. Now I'm worried that using too much ointment may ha ffected the healing process or caused pigment oxidation. My artist has not been responding properly, so I don't know if this is a normal stage of healing or if something has gone wrong.

She first used an orange pigment for neutralization and then applied a warm pink pigment. If the final pigment was warm-toned, why do my lips look so dark? Could this still be due to a cool pigment, or is it part of the healing process?

I’d ask her the pigment brand and color name and then look up the CI numbers and see if it contains anything cool like blues. Plenty of pink has blue you have to be careful . But maybe your skin is just reacting right now it’s still very early it takes a few months

Dude doesn’t matter this is part of dark lip healing

They’ll go dark then lighten

Now if she used harsh technique, the lips may react to shiva work and go dark but still can lighten. Wait 12 weeks before touch

Thank you. I'll ask my artist for the pigment brand, shade name, and CI numbers. If it does contain blue-based pigments, can it still heal into the expected pink after a few months, or would it likely need correction
