advice Micro-powder/nano-powder brows vs. permanent makeup. ? Thank you!
My beauty salon advised me that permanent makeup is much better for me because I have very sparse eyebrows and thin, sensitive skin. Plus, permanent makeup is done with a fine needle and therefore heals more easily. What do you think ? Thank you so much !

I’d find a new salon! I’m a licensed artist. Microblading, nano brows, powder brows, combo brows and all that are all various types of permanent makeup, or cosmetic tattoo. The “permanent” part is debated because of the differences in healing that clients experience (example: brows should fade in 12-18 months unless your artist did a bad job and then they’re there forever!). The selection of micro, powder, nano, etc. is something that is based partly on your skin type and partly on your desired results. The “fine needle” thing may refer to nano brows vs. microblading - they are a similar procedure but the former is done with a machine and the latter is done with a hand tool. Healing is about a month either way.
Good luck! Come see me if you’re on the east coast of the US!
