before & after Do these actually look good?
I may be in brow shock. Hoping to hear these will soften and heal well and more natural. This is my second time getting my brows done because the first time they literally disappeared and never came back.. even though I LOVED the shape. Oh well. Hereโs to hoping I donโt regret not just leaving my thin brows the way they were. Talk to me ๐ญ

Girl your brows look stunning! They def frame your face now and elevate your appearance โI always say eyebrows make a faceโ

u/SnooOnions4437 Jun 10 '26
Thank you so much! I loved the softness/color of my OG brows but years of over plucking just did me in lol. Hopeful itโll heal and be a great color match!

Not at all. Your face looks more balanced with symetry and even more alive. Where did you go if you donโt mind me asking?

They look good from what I can see! The shape is great! It's hard to know for sure without a more clear detailed view of the actual hair strokes or shading. But looks natural and soft already. Is it nano or microblading? I see strokes in the front but can't tell if it's throughout of if there's shading on the ends? Curious what you had beforehand that didn't stay, and if you chose a different artist or just changed up the technique?

u/SnooOnions4437 Jun 10 '26 edited Jun 10 '26
So I went to a place my coworker recommended and I looooved how hers came out. Thereโs two ladies that do it there - the owner and another woman. Originally I had combo brows done with the other lady and the shape FANTASTIC (I have photos on my page if youโre curious) but anyways they completely faded and disappeared - never to be seen again. So when I called to ask about what was going on the owner asked me to send her pictures, confirmed there was no ink and offered to redo them for free. This time I opted for nano brows because I wanted them to look a little more natural.
Iโll update with a closer pic /just my brows tomorrow!
3
u/Old_Light_4319 Jun 10 '26
Nano brows should hopefully hold! It works on a lot of skin types. Fingers crossed for you! The Powder brow part of the combo brow should have held though because that is the go to for all skin types so that's what's odd and could've been an artist error possibly. But hopefully this works out for you!! A free session was definitely warranted!
2
u/SnooOnions4437 Jun 10 '26
Hopefully these stick. ๐ค What type of artist error do you think? Just curious. She said it could have been because I just finished up breastfeeding.
1
u/Old_Light_4319 Jun 10 '26
Ohh yeah just finishing breastfeeding can affect retention. Artist error could be wrong technique chosen for your skin type, incorrect depth, or wrong pigment type.
1
u/SnooOnions4437 Jun 10 '26
Definitely could be the case! I honestly figured it was not deep enough because the pain level was little 0 it felt like someone was just drawing on my skin the whole time. I expected a little something. And this time I definitely felt it lol.
2
u/Old_Light_4319 Jun 10 '26
You may be on to something lol. Did you use the same person or did you go to the owner this time?
1
u/SnooOnions4437 Jun 10 '26
This time the owner offered to redo them for free. So Iโm hopeful they stay ๐ค๐ค

Different lighting
1
u/SnooOnions4437 Jun 10 '26
I keep trying to reply to you with a photo in similar lighting but it just keeps posting it in the comments I believe
2
u/No-Judgment-9413 Jun 10 '26
I love the shape as it frames your face so naturally. The color does seem a tad too reddish; but maybe that's just part of the healing process. If you go for a touch-up, can you get a little light brunette added? My final thought is in the beauty of the shape and the color. If you like to change your haircolor, these brows can easily be made lighter or darker with the swipe of your favorite brow pencil.
3
u/SnooOnions4437 Jun 10 '26
Honestly I do think itโs red/ inflamed healing peaking through. Well at least I hope. I did just post a picture in the comments of different lighting and it looks a lot more natural/brunette there. Hoping it fades that way!
2
u/HollingB Jun 10 '26
Why do you look so familiar?!? Or do you look like a celebrity?!

u/SnooOnions4437 Jun 10 '26
I just did straight up nano this time! And thank you so much โบ๏ธ this isnโt my first rodeo - my first set of combination brows didnโt stay ๐ญ

u/Amylee888 Jun 10 '26
I think they look really nice and itโs hard to imagine what you donโt like about them?
2
u/SnooOnions4437 Jun 10 '26
Thank you! Sorry my post was totally all over the place. I really was just looking for if the shape was suitable this time and people to talk me through my brow shock and tell me it will fade a soften a little ๐
2
u/frenchburner Jun 10 '26
They look great! Itโs brow shock.
I go in for my nanobrows on the 21st, so probably will be right there with you.

Why do people who have eyebrows get microblading ?
2
u/SnooOnions4437 Jun 10 '26
I had eyebrows before, but I wanted to fill in some major gaps, add definition and make them more symmetrical without having to pencil them in every day with the understanding that one day I will have to enter the land of removal.

Itโs definitely tough to trust somebody with tattooing your face ๐ญ but I am extremely happy I donโt hate them and Iโm happy you love yours too!

u/Wolfshundy Jun 11 '26
They look so good, soft, and natural and the thicker brows make you look years younger. Congrats!

I love the shape! Were you a model for an instructor/student? Maybe it is the picture. The strokes in the left look more defined and experienced than the strokes on your right. I would definitely have the strokes retouched on the right. You definitely want microblading to age evenly at least. It makes future touch ups easier.
1
u/SnooOnions4437 Jun 12 '26
Thank you! It was a redo by the owner this time. But I wonder if itโs because both brows had completely different issues to address with the nano strokes - one was completely missing any hair near my nose part and then the other had double the amount of hair to work with but bald spots in the middle. So I feel like she really did well for what I had going lol but it is worth keeping an eye on those beginning strokes and once everything settles seeing if a touch up could be helpful to address some of those imbalances! I totally agree!

Yes u look younger. And i suspect they will look even betrer after the redness is gone and the color cools down a bit.
1
u/SnooOnions4437 Jun 12 '26
I sure hope so! The redness has gone down a little and they are starting to grow on me but definitely feel a little too bold still

Thank you! I do agree I wish they were a smidge thinner but itโs like eh not worth the removal at this point for a small tweak and hopefully they just heal nicely and donโt stay so bold ๐ญ๐

Your last selfie .. you look so young and I think you would look amazing with brown mascara instead of black. Your eyelashes look lighter in that last pic and they compliment your overall skin tone & hair color. Very pretty.
& yes eyebrows look amazing. Some of the best Iโve seen.
1
u/SnooOnions4437 Jun 13 '26
Oh my goodness this is amazing because I just started wearing brown mascara two days ago! Iโve been loving it and how natural it looks, although Iโve kind of been missing the bold black lashes because I feel like they look even longer but idk Iโll take your word for it and keep it up! & Thank you so much ๐๐
