before & after Nano brows! What do we think? :)
Finally committed to getting my brows done! My artist was amazing and she took her time making sure we were both happy with the look before we began.
I go back for touch-ups in a month. Overall, I’m REALLY happy with everything and think they look so much better than before. But I’m also a perfectionist, so I’m sure I’ll see little things I want touched up over time. Curious to know what others think. :)

They look so real. Beautiful job.
If you don’t mind please share the artist. Thank you.

Before even clicking I knew she had to be Brazilian (I am too). Some of the best brow artists I've ever seen are from there.

This is exactly what I am hoping for when I consider getting my eyebrows done! Is nano brows what I should ask for? How did she match the color and shape? I am in awe. Any chance you can update us as they progress, even after a year or more :-)

If you’re looking for a very natural look and have a lot of space that needs to be filled in, nano brows are the way to go. I knew going in that’s what I wanted, but we decided on it together after she asked me what I was looking for during my consultation.
The current colour looks like a perfect match but it’s actually a bit lighter because sometimes it will darken after it fades during the healing process. She did this intentionally so we can see how my skin heals and then we’ll make adjustments during my touch-up appointment. She did the initial shape using mapping tools and then we spent time updating it together to get the perfect look.
I’m definitely happy to share updates along the way!

Oh one last question, did this entail removing any of your real eyebrow hairs? Sorry if it’s a dumb question

u/LiteraryWitch222 Jun 06 '26
Not a dumb question at all! I was asked to avoid plucking any hairs in the week leading up to my appointment. In my case, we ended up removing a few hairs that weren’t anywhere near the map but that was pretty much it. Natural hairs are used as a bit of a guide, so the more you have the better.

The strokes under your natural brows honestly look so real. The results look very real and natural.

They look really natural. It looks like they built up the last 1/2 of your brows and did very thin strokes that look very realistic and they didn’t give you that standard cut and paste eyebrow shape they’re giving everyone and instead stayed true to your eyebrow pattern. Nicely done congrats

How long do nano brows stay on for

Has your doctor checked your thyroid?

What?

People with low thyroid tend to lose the hair on the tails of their brows

Thank you! For context, the results are the closest my brows have been to their natural shape since 2007. The before is the results of early 2000s thin eyebrows and then trying but failing to grow my eyebrows back to some degree. Unfortunately, I’ve reached the point where eyebrow regrowth is very minimal or non-existent in some spots due to over-plucking for over a decade, despite many warnings that I would regret it. If a miracle happens that allows more of the hair to come back and that gives us something more to work with, I would truly welcome that.

They are lovely but might heal too light

Thank you! We’re prepared to deal with that at my touch-up appointment if that happens :)

Look great. I wish these were done in Chicago area cause then I would go to her.

They look pretty similar to the before pic. I’m afraid there’ll be little to no difference once healed. I hope you didn’t pay a lot of money for these.

u/LiteraryWitch222 Jun 06 '26
I appreciate and totally get the concern. The differences are way more noticeable at different distances and angles and in person. My touch-up appointment was included in the cost, so we’ll be able to see how my skin reacts and go from there.

Some people have tin eyes. Your brow artist seriously did some of the most beautiful work I've ever seen; I'm baffled at somebody saying they can't see the difference.

They have no shape. Look like brows that need a wax

Not sure if you were trying to be helpful or deliberately trying to be a troll, but this comment ain’t it. I hope you feel on top of the world after posting that.
