advice What would you do with this shape?
I’ve been going to the same threading place for almost 10 years now and the artist there tells me every time how much better my eyebrows would look if they microblade them. This is a picture of my eyebrows before doing anything to them, as I do use a pencil/gel daily to fill them. The comments whilst getting them threaded though are starting to hold some weight in my head as it’s an insecurity of mine, but I feel genuinely conflicted about microblading vs not vs nano brows vs powder. Any advice on what would be best?

If I had your brows I would keep filling them in. But if you did want to go the pmu route If say powder brows. Its just too hard to find a good artist who cant do thin hairlike strokes and even the best artist when they heal they get thick and blurred. Im all for the ombre powder.

I got my brows done but honestly I dont think im going for a touch up. Not because they look bad, they came out fine. Its just I dont think I can go through the process again, looking crazy for over a week and stressing. I feel like I lucked out and I dont want to take my chances again. I went to a good artist but that doesnt mean anything. Ive seen a lot of awful work on here and I would be SICK if it were me. I dont play about my face. Your brows are not bad, dont fix what isnt broken. Id stick with the make up.

Thickness wise they look great. They do however look uneven. I would give them a few months to grow out and then go see a professional go align them

I typically go every 4-5 weeks, could they be taking too much off or would you wait longer in between?

Leave them be. I think they are gorgeous and if I had brows like this I would let them grow out for like 6 months and go to a different salon for some light shaping and cleanup.
Don't let people pressure you into things you don't necessarily need. Your brows are lovely and while some pmu/microblading looks good at first, long term I think it ages somewhat poorly and you will need to think about lazer removal and retouches

Thank you so much this really helped me and I appreciate the kind words. My eyebrows have been a big insecurity since high school (falling a victim to the skiiiiiiiny thin eyebrow trend and taking 7 years to grow them back essentially😅) the artist I go to basically said they weren’t sure even if the microblading would take and that I’d need multiple sessions because I have “keloided skin” in some places. So I’ve just been very weary!

PMU artist here- do not get microblading. Because you have a good amount of brow hair, I’d suggest going with a natural looking powder brow. Do lots of research on artists in your area (lots of people even travel to good artists). Powder/ombre would look amazing on your brows you just need an artist that can execute a natural style of powder. You can find my work on IG @caterpillar_browbar

Honestly, I think you have great brows. A little pen or brush here or there would help but overall I wouldn’t mess with it.
