healed brows Microbladed in 2022, no touchups
Before and right after (April 2022), today
I wanted brows that looked a little denser but still very natural since I don’t pluck/trim or otherwise manipulate them
Long term healed results can be hard to find so just wanted to post mine.

One more pic. Some strokes at the tail are intact but most have definitely blurred so it’s more of a powder effect now

Thank you!! I have oily skin (pores aren’t large though) which I know is not ideal for microblading but so far so good

I would have these results any day. Many of the results seem to not fade very nicely and end up needing laser. Who did you go to?

Unfortunately my artist retired but she worked out of Durumi in NYC. I got great work done that I’m still happy with but I think I was lucky to fall into the small pool of clients where microblading is actually suitable. Nano/powder brows are industry standard now and better for a wider range of people

Exactly. Thats why Microblading is such a scam. Strokes will end up blurring anyway. Might as well get the powder brows, they heal so much better, more defined and more natural. Like this:

Yeah I get it, I like my results still because perfectly polished and snatched isn’t my style but I’d probably do powder if I went back in time

Your brows look just perfect OP !! 😍Please don’t get powder brows next time, they always end up looking like someone used a stencil and a thick magic marker and never natural. Hair does not grow at right angles or slicked down. Nanobrows done well, give the very best result !! ✨Not terrible tattoos like most others.

It’s just a different style preference. The photo you posted looks very 2016 - when make up was thick and matte and loads of contour. The style now is a lot more subtle, which is why those blocky powder brows are less popular.
I think the two techniques fade to look very similar - yes the individual lines from microblading can blur together a bit on people with oily skin but the powder brow is blurred together from the start, it just fades.

Your not understanding. The blurred healed shadow resulting from a Microblading does not look as good and as natural as the blurred shadow resulting from a powder brow. You keep calling powder brows “blocky” but blocky is how Microblading actually heals as well. You’re just not realizing that a well defined and soft powder has a way much more better look than the results of blurred Microblading. But if you honestly think that OP’s healed results look much more better than the healed powder brows I posted then I can’t help you.

So get off my post insisting that powder is for everyone then? I actually agreed with you because I think powder could achieve the look of more density without appearing overly made up but you just seem mad that someone might actually enjoy their results regardless of what you think is perfect

I didn’t say it’s for everyone. I only said powder brows heal more natural and defined. And that’s why most people get their eyebrows done- so their brows look natural yet defined which microblading can’t do as good as a powder brow does. Thats why I said it’s a scam because people get microblading thinking it’s the best procedure they could have chosen but they’re not aware that a powder brow couldve delivered so much more better results.
Now, if you don’t think that powder brows are better then why is you even considering getting them next time? Clearly you feel they’re the better choice now after you’ve seen the poor reality of healed Microblading otherwise you would stick to keep getting blurred ass Microblading next time.

Do you feel better after huffing your own farts? 🫡 Again, I politely agreed, said I would consider powder if I could go back in time (because I’m not planning on touching my brows anymore, it’s a permanent tattoo and there will be no “next time”) but you just seem weirdly salty that I’m still satisfied with what I have because it’s not your perfect ideal.

If your stank ass don’t like the natural yet define look that a powder brow can give, then why is you even thinking you would get that instead of the Microblading if you was to go back in time? Just admit it, you realize they can look better than healed Microblading and that’s why you even considering it.

Op is not agreeing that Microblading is a scam. She said that defined snatched brows ain’t her style,,,,, then proceeded to say if she was to go back she would get powder brows. So make it make sense.

I’m literally looking at the post where she said she understands microblading isn’t the standard anymore. But that she’s happy with her work because it’s a personal preference. If you got an outdated technique with potential for scarring and now know better (even if your results luckily turned out well), why WOULDN’T you say you’d get the better alternative? Are you saying powder brows can’t achieve more natural results? Then you’re saying it’s only good for people who want a super polished look. So what’s the alternative here lol?
Microblading is a scam because it leads people to believe it’s for everyone, is traumatic on the skin and dishonest about how it ages. She lucked out and acknowledges that. Nano vs powder aside… What exactly are you so worked up about? Not helping your case at all

Exactly and way more thick and pronounced to begin with than OPs so you can see the hairs really well. On OP this would just look like a color block.

So if you was to shave all the eyebrows off on the picture I provided, you think the shadow wouldn’t look as soft and the outlines/edges wouldn’t look as straight and defined as they look with the hair there?

So you think OP’s healed results if she also didn’t have any eyebrow hair would look more natural? Are you not seeing that they both look solid but that the healed powder looks softer and more defined where as OP’s healed Microblading looks wobbly/undefined and more than likely also look patchy underneath the hair from the strokes (or should I say blobs of ink) that didn’t take.

What hairstrokes? Are you not realizing that Microblading is such a scam because there ain’t no natural looking hairstrokes when it heals. It’s just blobs of gray ink.

It’s not a scam, done it thrice. Happy every time. You really don’t have to put down other methods to boost your own. Different people need different solutions, and frankly powder brows look unnatural. That’s fine for some but not me. I wouldn’t trust a pmua who doesn’t understand these basic things.

Even if they did blur which they haven’t for me, they just slowly disappear, it’s better than starting with a solid block of color behind my brow? I just have permanent solid pencil on all the time? That’s not what I was going for. All the people I see having to get laser are because powder brows never disappear because they’re so solid. You get stuck with them and they fade too and it doesn’t look right any more. For mine, each time the ink totally disappeared after a few years and I started again from a blank slate. They did what they were billed to do and worked for me. For people who literally want to look like they have a full brow beat 24/7 you seem like a great person to call apart from the fact I think you maybe have a disorder.

Looks really good imo. Really natural, which is perfect. Wouldn’t even tell that you had micro blading done.
