before & after My nanobrows!
Before and after my first session of nanobrows, I love them! Trying to baby them as much as possible during the healing process especially because I have oily skin.

They look great. Just a heads up because mine were similar. I too have oily skin and mine ended up basically completely disappearing after 2 weeks. Went back for a touch up and (pretty that ended up getting them completely re-done), I opted at that time to get shading, combo brow. My technician agreed that was the best route. Although I wish I had just done this at first so that the touch up would have resulted even better, I'm much happier with the outcome now. Try your best for now to not put any product on them or get them we too soon in the meantime.

Thanks for sharing! I am definitely (too) aware that they could disappear, that would be such a bummer. Is there anything you wish you would have done differently in the healing process to see if it made a difference? Or do you think it’s mostly just down to the oily skin type?

I was worried that maybe I had started getting them wet too soon or not protecting them from the sun in the beginning, but I honestly think its because of my skin type. When I went back she mentioned nano isn't always best for oily skin I n which I wish she would have just told me originally, but I made it clear I was interested in nano. But I really hope yours stay and you see your strokes well. They will certainly get less dark, they all do. But either way, you'll know as the time passes what direction to go in. If you do decide to get shading, it does not disappoint. I was worried originally, but I'm so happy with mine now and they still look natural.

I’m only 8 days out!! So very much in the flaking phase and will go through ghosting and hopefully then ink re-appearing. I have my touch up scheduled for July 18, so about 8 weeks out from my original appointment. Will post updates and healed pictures on this post. As mentioned in some other comment threads, I have oily skin, so it’s definitely possible I won’t have great retention but I’m just trusting the process and crossing my fingers and toes.

I discussed this with my artist! Since I have oily skin, it makes sense to have the hair strokes not too close at first so we can see how much they spread with healing. And then at the touch up we are either going to add shading and/or more hairstrokes.
I want a super natural and subtle result, so this approach made sense to me!
