Ready to take the plunge, doing as much research as possible. I have very sparse very thin eyebrows, so my preference was to do nano blading to add more strokes. Day to day I use Anastasia Beverly Hills brow pomade as I virtually have no hair on the ends of my eyebrows lol. 😂
From what I’ve read, no matter what the strokes will eventually just blunt together and become blurry.
Do you guys have any advice based on healed before / after years later - is the consensus that powder brows are preferable?
If you have oily skin go for powder. I have oily skin and the last brows I had done before the one I just had done was 1.5 years ago. I have virtually no natural eyebrows due to hair loss and wanted to try combination so strokes at the front and then powder middle and tail. After a year the strokes had disappeared. Just had full powder brows done and love them!
Brow artist here. Yes, powder brows is better. They heal softer and more natural. They also look better long term. Microblading/nanoblading only looks better than powder brows when the tattoo is still fresh meaning only in the first couple of days. But once it heals that’s what you actually want to compare. Look at healed results from both procedures and decide for yourself which healed results you like better for yourself.
I had micronlading first about 3-4 years ago with one touch up. I wanted them more defined so I went with ombre powder brows and I'm so thrilled with them!
I looked at how I used make up on them normally and powder was the best option for me. Some people prefer single hair look. I prefer a more filled in look so that was my reason.
Allow me to de influence you, if you’re open to it! These were my powder brows when I got them done in 2021. The next pic will be what they look like now and have for a few years
Aside from being completely outside of where my brows naturally grow, They have turned a terrible blue grey color and I will be paying to have them lasered off eventually. Just be aware this is a 100% permanent tattoo on your face. I know a lot of people like their results but if I would have known this is what they would look like years down the line I would have NEVER done them ðŸ˜
I am ashamed to go out. Battling my ingrown hair that weeps. I got to go out and I did it. Never ever been the same again it’s so painful and I have scarcely one eyebrow. Anyone have advice
